asalam aleykum. please tell me the best duaa to find a good wife.
"Our Lord! Grant us a spouse and offspring who will be the joy (and the comfort ) of our eyes, and guide us to be models of righteous (Leader of God-concious people). " (Qur'an 25:74)
PS: I forgot to mention that along side our heart felt duas must go our 'effort' - thats the difficult part; well I speak for myself anyway.
So seek the halaal means the Allah(swt) has given and make dua in conjunction with this inshaAllah.

Thank u sis ASMA.......i 'll apply ur idea....but i want the exact BEST DUA.
Asalaamualaikum dear Brother...
Is there a 'best dua'?? :O) MaashaAllah there are so many beautiful duas, read through the Quran and you will see numerous times where Allah is showing is how to seek His help.
Sister Asma is right in what she is saying - we can know the best dua but we need to say it in the right way and at the right time. Of course we can talk to Allah(swt) through making dua at any time of the day or night, but Allah has told us about the recommended times for making dua.
Some of these recommended times are during:
- After Fard Salah
- In the last third of the night - which is before Fajr
- After making ablution/wudu
- While travelling
- When unwell
- When it is raining
- On Jummah, there is an hour which is very special for making dua; we don't know the exact timing, but its good for us to seek the hour
You recognise that you need to make dua to Allah(swt) because you want something that only He(swt) can give you through His Mercy. So you are in Need of Allah's Mercy. What do we humans do when we want something from someone? We listen to them, we try to or aim to do what they want us to do. So it is the same in this case too. Find out what Allah(swt) recommends us to do to gain His pleasure and do them.
After making sure you are observing the compulsory pillars, ie: believing in the Oneness of Allah(swt), praying 5 daily salaah, fasting in Ramadaan, paying Zakah, making an effort to do Hajj
- Observe voluntary fasts
- Pray Tahujjud Salaah
- Do acts of charity
- Give Sadaqah
- Do lots of Dhikr
- Smile - its a form of charity, and also uplifting and may attract a nice sister to you, lol!! :O)
- Visit an ill person
- Feed a poor person
There are lots of things you can do to come closer to Allah, the list is endless Alhumdulillah and the great thing is that alot of things are absolutely free; yet we receive so much reward from doing them - with the right intention.
And of course, all this goes hand in hand with making an effort!!!
May you take the right steps to helping yourself and May Allah(swt) help you too!!! :O)
Assalamu alaikum sister Asma,
I wanted to get married. As Islam says , we have to find the one with good islamic characters.
proposals for good muslimah are coming, but i am stucked because there is a girl who i beleive she is not honest at all based on her behavior. I feel painful for seeing her with those behaviors. My intention to marry her is to try with the Blessing of Allah to save her from hellfire(May Allah leads all of us to the right path and grant us His Paradise) and to her a good muslim wife....nothing else.Allah knows my intention...
Is it permissible to leave sister who fear Allah and marry opposite side with the intention of trying to help?
Jazaka Allah Khair
Bawazir, it's permissible but it's a bad idea. Your impulse to "save" this woman will only lead to a troubled marriage. It would be better to marry someone who is mentally and emotionally healthy, and honest. If you need further advice please log in and write your question as a separate post, thank you.
Dear brother Wael,
Thank you for your advice I understand....as mom Allah yarhamha used to say, the paths which lead you to jannah are more than the air we breath...i need to have stable life.. then to be able to help.
Jazaakum Allah Khair
Like Sister Z said, besides making dua, try to do a lot of good deeds and keep asking for forgiveness. Remember, in Surah Nuh, Nuh tells his people to ask for forgiveness, telling them "He will send down upon you the cloud, pouring down abundance of rain: (11) And help you with wealth and sons, and make for you gardens, and make for you rivers.'
(Of course, it only follows that Allah will grant you a wife before He bestows on you sons or children.)
One thing, though, I wouldn't encourage you to smile at someone from the opposite gender. Remember, we are meant to lower our gaze. Having said that, I do encourage you to smile at other men.
Finally, don't forget to to actively do your part. If you have a good, practicing sister, don't hesitate to ask her to help you find someone. Join halaqas at the masijd- you might meet a brother who is looking for someone for his sister.
May Allah help you find someone who will make you happy both in this world and the next.
The best du'a in seeking marriage (man or woman) is the Salat-ul Istikhara
Anytime a Muslim is making a decision, he or she should seek Allah's guidance and wisdom. Allah alone knows what is best for us, and there may be good in what we perceive as bad, and bad in what we perceive as good.
If you are ambivalent or unsure about a decision you have to make, there is a specific prayer for guidance (Salat-l-Istikhara) that you can do to ask for Allah's help in making your decision. Should you marry this certain person? Should you attend this graduate school? Should you take this job offer or that one? Allah knows what is best for you, and if you are not sure about a choice that you have, seek His guidance.
The Prophet Muhammad said, "If one of you is concerned about some practical undertaking, or about making plans for a journey, he should perform two cycles (rak'atain) of voluntary prayer." Then he/she should say the following du'a:

Oh Allah! I seek Your guidance by virtue of Your knowledge, and I seek ability by virtue of Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty. You have power; I have none. And You know; I know not. You are the Knower of hidden things.
Oh Allah! If in Your knowledge, (this matter*) is good for my religion, my livelihood and my affairs, immediate and in the future, then ordain it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if in Your knowledge, (this matter*) is bad for my religion, my livelihood and my affairs, immediate and in the future, then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it. And ordain for me the good wherever it may be, and make me content with it.
Allahumma inni astakheeroka bi ilmik. Wa'astaq-diroka biqodratik. Wa'as'aloka min fadlikal-azeem. Fa'innaka taqdiru wala aqdir. Wata lamo wala-a lam. Wa'anta-allamul ghuyoob.
Allahumma in kunta ta lamu anna (hathal-amra*) khayul-lee fi deenee wama ashi wa ajila amri wa'ajilah, faqdorho lee, wayassirho lee, thomma-barik lee fih. Wa'in konta ta lamo anna (hathal-amra*) sharrul-lee fi deenee. Wama ashi. Wa ajila amri. Wa'ajilaho. Fasrifho annee. Wasrifnee anh. Waqdur leyal-khayr haytho kan. Thomma ardini bih.
* When making the du'a, the actual matter or decision should be mentioned instead of the words "hathal-amra" ("this matter").
* After doing salat-l-istikhara, you may feel more inclined toward a decision one way or the other.
have complete trust in Him, be patient Insha Allah you will see wonders.
Pray for me and the website Iextracted the texts.

Being Muslim and having the faith. I will say Allah is great and He is the one who can help us in every field of our lives and at any cruel corner where we cannot decide anything. Everyone has his or her own faith. Dua has a power and it is the truth of life.
We say real prayers when we are stuck somewhere in our lives. Having a particular Dua needs a solid and strong faith in Allah and then sterling efforts to keep that woman with for all life and being the best husband and the best father and making the children the best in society.
I solute you because you asked for this Dua because you now need a real wife. I hope If you meet any woman now you will respect her the way Muhammad (peace be upon him did). Meeting a woman is not only giving birth to children but one that that we don't understand is " THE WAY WE WANT SOMETHING FROM OUR WIFE, WE DON'T GIVE HER BACK" I mean RESPECT.
If you really want a good woman in your life you have to learn first HOW TO BECOME GOOD HUSBAND in life.
Allah Subhans Tala has every solution of every problem just have this faith and recite this Dua and I will also beg from Allah to give you what you need in your life.
May Allah give you every power that you need to respect this woman.
“O’ Allah! I desire to marry, so arrange for me a woman from those who willingly abstain from what is unlawful and who safeguards her soul for my sake and because of her, not only my means of sustenance will increase, but also make there be in it abundance and also make it sure that she will give me a virtuous son, who will be a noble successor in my life and after my death.”
