Forgiveness for black magic doers

sihr, black magic

Black magic.

Assalam o alaikum,

I hope you are in best of your health. I have one question and I would like you to answer it without any delay, please.

I want to know if someone has done black magic on someone, how can that black magic doer seek Allah's forgiveness? Is there any dua, or amal that he/she can do so that Allah will forgive him/her?

Please, I am waiting for your answer.

Jazak Allah.

  1. Assalamu'alaikum,

Just leave what he or she was practicing of the Kufr (Magic) and turn to Allah in Repentance. Correct the Aqeedah and follow the methodology of the Sahaabah. Thats it.

I don't know if you have heard about Shaikh Haamid Aadam from Sudan. He used to be a great magician. He did tawbah and today, he refutes magicians and does da'wah to them. He also narrates this incident which happened in Cyprus which indicates how strong the hold of Shaitan can be and how easily Qur'an can defeat him.

So, sincere tawbah and learning correct deen is the answer to your question.

  2. Read Azgar dua morning and evening

    Morning and evening

100 times laa ilaaha illaahu wahadahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul mulku walahul hamdu wa huwa alaa kulli shayin qadeer

100 times ya badiyal azaaibi bil qairi ya badiyu

    • Actually the Prophet (s.a.w.) has mentioned the: """La ilaha illallah, wahdahu la sharika lahu Lahul mulk wa lahul hamd, wahua `ala kulli shay'in qadeer 100 times"""

However, I have NOT yet found any hadith for the: "" Ya badiyal azaaibi bil qairi ya badiyu 100 times""" Unless if it's a personal dua created by ordinary person.

      The Prophet (s.a.w.) said: “Whoever says: """La ilaha illallah,wahdahu la sharika lahu Lahul mulk wa lahul hamd,wahua `ala kulli shay'in qadeer 100 times"""will get the same reward as given for manumitting ten slaves; and one hundred good deeds will be written in his accounts, and one hundred sins will be deducted from his accounts, and it will be a shield for him from Satan on that day till night, and nobody will be able to do a better deed except the one who does more than he." { Sahih Al-Bukhari ~ Book #75, Hadith #412 }

I personally think this is a good dua since you will be protected from Shaytaan/Jins or from the consequences behind abandoning a magic practicing, and plus 100 of your sins will be forgiven , and as well as 100 good deeds will be written for you and many more..

        The meaning:

(there is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him; His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent)

It may be recited (each day) 100 times in the morning or at anytime arround the day and/or 100 times in the night.

  3. ASSALAMALAILUM-
If you committed Shirk in the process of black magic you should renew your Imam. If any financial or physical harm was caused to the victim he should be compensated for the loss done. One should also seek the pardon of the victim because Allah will only pardon you if the victim pardons you himself. In order for you to assist that person, you should contact a reliable and appropriate person so that he may assist in removing the evil effects of the black magic.
“The hadd (prescribed punishment) for the practitioner of magic is a blow with the sword (i.e., execution).”
{Tirmidhi}( حد الساحر ضربة بالسيف )( رواه الترمذي (1460 )
Learning and practicing sihr constitutes Kufr, and if you are/were a saahir, then you are well aware of what you would have had to do in order to become a saahir.
    Allah states:
“They followed what the Shayaateen (devils) gave out (falsely of the magic) in the lifetime of Sulaymaan (Solomon). Sulaymaan did not disbelieve, but the Shayaateen (devils) disbelieved, teaching men magic and such things that came down at Babylon to the two angels, Haaroot and Maaroot, but neither of these two (angels) taught anyone (such things) till they had said, ‘We are for trial, so disbelieve not (by learning this magic from us).’”
    {Albaqarah, verse 102}
Regarding whether the repentance of a saahir will be accepted, please read HERE. http://www.islamqa.com/en/ref/69914/punishment%20of%20using%20magic
However, this does not mean that repenting will save you from the Hadd punishment if you are found guilty, and reside in a Mulsim country.
Make sincere repentance and NEVER do it or get involved in it ever again.
Every sin can be forgiven, just so long as you repented before you die.
“But whosoever repents after his crime and does righteous good deeds (by obeying Allaah), then verily, Allaah will pardon him (accept his repentance). Verily, Allaah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful [al-Maa’idah 5:39 – interpretation of the meaning]
“O you who believe! Turn to Allaah with sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will expiate from you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise)” [al-Tahreem 66:8]
Say: O ‘Ibaadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allaah, verily, Allaah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful”[al-Zumar 39:53]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Our Lord comes down to the lowest heaven when one-third of the night remains, and says, ‘Who will call upon Me so that I may answer him? Who will ask Me so that I may give to him? Who will seek My forgiveness so that I may forgive him?’” (Narrated by Muslim, no. 758)
On the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: Allah the Almighty said:

  4. AsSalaamy Alaikum,

I strongly agree with Brother Abu Abdul Bari and Brother ALI YOUSUFF, except for the part which says "One should also seek the pardon of the victim". Even though seeking the pardon of the victim is the best way in some cases, but I think in this particular case, there can still be another way to do it whiteout meeting the victim in person. If you sincerely repent to Allah, you can also ask Allah to soften the heart of the victim to forgive whoever crafted the magic on him/her.

There are two reasons, why I wouldn't suggest meeting the victim in person:

1-If the victim is not an understanding person; this may lead to a Fitnah regardless of your repentance to Allah.

2-You only know you crafted a magic on him/her, but you can't really tell if your magic really affected the victim or not. (it maybe that the victim was affected by a different magic other than yours or, it may be that what happened to him/her wasn't a result of any magic, but just a trial of Allah). Therefore, since everything was done hidden the repentance could also be done hidden.

    Allah knows best

  5. assalamalaikum-Read Azgar dua morning and evening.....
Dear Brothet muhmmad can you pls give some authentic reference from Quran or hadees-
it will be beter for the forum or else all might thimk this a valid dua [means shown by nabisalahulaihiwasalam and sahabas] becaue this will be adopted by people and their families -

    • Assalaamalaikum...I am a victim of very bad black.magic attack..my daughter has been attacked from the time she was in my womb and we have suffered...actually our lives have been ruined...the people who do black magic go to magicians who are friends if the devil and think they can do whatever..they do and keep doing coz they then forget that Allah is there...Allah also gives them time....but the day is never far from when Allah can remove the carpet from under their feet and the only place for them is jahannum...there is no pardon for them..they have to suffer..because they earned jahaannum..u cant do what you want..ruin people..say sorry repent and be forgiven...its not that easy..u do u have to pay...and anyone doing blackmagic is kafir..kafir ki koi maafi nahi..he has to go to jahannum..surely..Allah will always support the faithful and the patient..never the zalim.

      • Brother i disagree with shanaz at one point that is there is no forgiveness for the ones who repent. That is not true! Allah is the most forgiving and if one sincerely repent with the will+intent to not repeat the same mistake then why wouldn't Allah forgive? Also, the magician is among the kufaars.. If he/she sincerely repents and accepts Islam , recite the 1st Kalmah, be nice to the person who did magic(or think good about the victim with clear and pure intention and concern and ask Allah to not effect the subject and object for the magician got astrayed and wants to come back to the right path,do good deeds, read Quran Majeed etc...wouldn't Allah forgive him? He might have to pay for it depending upon the severity of his/her ill deeds but then again theres a "might" and there are things that are hidden or we cant understand. The rest Allah knows best!

        • I had a question, & i wanted to know if i would ever be forgiven, i have never committed any major sin like this before, so i dont know what to do- for 6/7 years i had black magic done on me by this girl who basically wanted to ruin my life and was successfull in doing so, i just couldnt take it and my heart was full of feeling revenge and hatred for her that i contacted some-one through online to see if they could kill my enemy and some indian guy did, i had 50/50 faith that it would work, but it did, but now i'm feeling a rush of guilt and think i'm going to go crazy!! Will i ever be forgiven for this grave sin that i committed

          • Ayesha, what do you mean he killed her? Do you mean that he cast some black magic on her in return and she died? Or do you mean literally that you paid him to physically kill her?

          • Ayesha i think you should ask a scholar. Try posting your question on islam qa. Allah forgives all sins if the salves truly repents from that sin but the question seems a bit more complex as its regarding the death of a human being.

        • Brother if someone do black magic on someone and that person loss all the things because of that person magic and then before dieing he ask for forgiveness from Allah and if Allah forgives him but what about that person who is victim of this black magic who loss all the things who suffer a lot what is reward for that person i know that person will get jannah but that person also get jannat so wonderful for that person who has done black magic he lives here also nice life and there also he get jannah please reply me i really want this answer

          • Allah knows best who will achieve Jannah and who will not. One that is sure is that is Allah is the Most Wise and the best judge. He will not treat anyone unfairly, or do anything that is not just.

        • Asra who the hell will account for the sufferings of the victim that he/she encountered....
Its very easy to relax on back seat and say he will be forgiven. Its the matter of qisaas (retaliation)

  6. Salam
I was a victim of black magic. I am of morroccan background but live in melb australia.

When i was 17 some jealous people did siher to me to try and make me become a junkie and drug addict. A few months later a relative of those jealous people died of a heroine drug overdose.

People done siher to my parents to try and make them divorce. Alhamdulillah my parents are still together and the jealous people ended up in a divorce.

People done siher to destroy my family but Alhamdulillah we have become more stronger and closer.

Out of all the siher that was done to destroy me and my family , the opposite ended up happening. We have become god fearing ? We went to hajj , we all started praying , my mum and sister put on the hijjab.

For the jealous people who done the siher , i will say that allah has been sufficient for us as a protector and all they have done is gained major sins on their accounts. They will allso c the affects of their actions on the day of judgement. Just remember " we plant the seeds but our kids r gonna eat the fruit " .

If you r a magician or have gone to a magician to do magic on someone then you should sincerely repent. Allah is most forgivingand just.

If you have caused harm to someone with magic then you should do your best to seek forgiveness from the person and compensate them to the best of your ability if its possible. You should allso gey advice from a sincere sheikh on how to repent to allah for your actions.

Remember , sometimes the siher that is done ends up backfiring and comes to the person who originally done it.

    Fear Allah
    Asalamualaikum
