Interesting that you show disapproval for (just guessing here) other countires so quickly with something that has NOTHING to do with the original question. And honestly, NO country is without corruption. Sorry if that knocks the soapbox out from under you.

In regards to the ACTUAL question, Wael is correct. Long hours, constant worry, and as always in this type of job, severe risks for families. The man  that you love, and that you hope to spend your life with is indeed noble, and may he continue to show his pride in his choice of profession. I personally feel that you have received good and sound advice.</description>
