Honestly from a diplomatic point of view, the kids should decide which religion they will like or follow or if one you would like to convert to Catholic or Muslim, that would easier for the children to cope with. My grandfather was Hindu and my grandmother was Catholic; he told me that he loved her so much that he convereted for her. I think you should let your love decide what you really want.
