Can a Recent Convert to take a Christian Second Wife

If a man is newly converted into Islam, is it possible he can marry a Christian woman again though he is already married to a Christian with his first wife?

Lies and deceipt about taking second wife

I am british muslim convert married to Egyptian muslim in the UK. Am older than he and unable to bear child. My husband took 2nd wife (who is now pregnant) over 1 yr ago without my knowledge.

How can him lying and deceiving me for over 1yr to enable him to go and visit her be halal? She is divorce Catholic with no belief in Islam. His family knew also.
