What is the meaning of my dream?

Makkah

Taken by SisterZ during Hajj 2006/7

Asalamualaikum,

Just want to share this, day before yesterday I had such a wonderful dream don't know weather telling dream it good or not but I really want to know the meaning o dreamed about. I would share with my husband or my father but before would like to share it here because want to know the meaning first.

I saw in my dream. Me, my husband my father, my mother and one one of my uncle and my 10 months old daughter. We went somewhere don't know where couldn't remember the place, my father my daughter and my uncle was walking and suddenly from far I saw kabbha where you pray when you perform hajj (please correct me if I spell it wrong) I ran forward and my daughter was with me, then I don't my father " look father there is kabbha oh Allah thank you so much you gave me chance to pray inform of your home" I was crying then I told my father I won't miss this opportunity then my father said you should pray then go and do wadu then pray. I ran in my room my husband was saying what happens I said I saw kabbha and I am going to make pray then I gave my daughter to my husband them I was doing wadu unfortunatly my alarm started to rang then I woke up for fajr.

After I woke up I said " shukuralhumdullilah" then. Went for my pray.

Now my question are when ran towards kabbha I didn't see uncle and when I came in the room I didn't see mother but I felt she was with me, another one is when I was doing my wadu my dream broke because of the alarm.

Can any of you tell me what this dream mean?

Thank you
Walailimasalam
Nadia

  1. Nadia, Asalaamualayukum,

We are not qualified to interpret dreams. It maybe intriguing, but is not useful to dwell on wanting to know the meanings of every dream we have. Allah alone knows the true meaning and the future. Just be happy that you saw the Kaabah in your dream (well I would be) and then ask Allah(swt) to give you the best of this life and the next and to protect you from the bad of this life and the next.

  2. Salamu'alaikum.

Sister, be happy and do not make The Lord Angry. Make Him Pleased. At least try as hard as you can. I can not tell you what the dream means, but the 'Ulama have said with the help of the Sunnah that the dream from the Sahr (dawn - the time when you eat Sahr for fasting - which is the time you probably saw this dream) is true. Just thank Allah for this and be happy. Why your uncle and mother disappeared, Allahu A'lam (Allah knows Best). You probably will see the Ka'bah soon. May Allah make it happen. Do pray that Allah forgives my sins, if you happen to go there 🙂

  5. What does it mean when i dream that , i was sitting with a group of people and we were all dressed in white , i was sitting at the center of the circle and was saying alhamdu allah non stop ...

    • Sounds like a good dream. But Allah Knows Best. We do not have the knowledge of dream interpretation. And please, if you are confused, do not pay heed to the dreams you see, you could go astray in the process.

        • Wa Alaikum as Salam sister Nadia,

We are not knowledgible enough to interpret dreams. But I can sense the trap of shaitaan. You need to protect your kids with the recommended duas. You need to put them in the protection of Allah Izza wa Jal.

          Say this Dua to them:

اعيذكما بكلمات الله التآمات من كل شيطانٍ وهآمَة ومن كل عينٍ لآمَة

(U'eedhukuma bi Kalimatillahit Taammaati min Kulli Shaitaanin wa Haamah; wa min Kulli 'Ainin Laammah)

(I seek protection for you in the Perfect Words of Allah from every devil and every beast, and from every envious blameworthy eye) - Sahih al Bukhari.

For protection from evil eye, this will insha Allah suffice. For protection against magic, teach your children the Surahs of the Quran namely: Surah Ikhlas, Surah al Falaq and Surah an Naas, Aayah al Kursi and the following du'as:

Bismillahi alladhi la yadurru ma`a ismihi shay’un fi al-ardi wa la fi as-sama’i wa huwa as-sami`u al-`alim

(In the name of Allah; with His name, nothing whatsoever on earth or heaven can inflict any harm; He is All-Hearing and All-Knowing)

A'oodhu bi Kalimaatillaahit Taammaati min Sharri ma Khalaq

(I seek refuge in Allah’s Perfect Words from the evil of what He created)

Also regularly make them do dhikr and you do dhikr. You can learn some or many adhkar from the book of duas: Fortress of the Muslim - Hisn al Muslim

If you still have a query, please login and submit your question separately.

          Jazakillah

          Wassalamu'alaikum

          • My husband has 3 wives. I had a dream that my husband and his wife, was talking to me, and she was saying "Please don't take away my husband!"
Then I saw my husbands other wife alone without him. And I dreamt my husband called me and said on the phone " walaa hawlaa walaa quwata ila billah" or "ina lilla hi Wa ina ilayhi raajiuun" it was one of them, I can't remember. But he had such a deep voice and it was really scary and it was like somebody died. Please can you tell me what is this meaning?

  6. @ Nura,

As you know there are three kinds of dreams in Islam. Good dreams ( warning/signs etc) , Bad dreams ( fear etc ) and sub-concious mind dreaming ( stuffs bothering you daily ). So basically depending on your situation, hearing/seeing death in dreams have many interpretations like it can mean literal death or it can also mean divorce or sufferings or violence or loss of faith or etc, therefore, no one can be sure of understanding dreams but we can only guess, why don't you ask a qualified scholar, they might have a better explanation insha'Allah. Whatever it is, be regular in prayers, pray to Allah for blessings, mercy, forgiveness and guidance.

  7. I sawl a dream and i want to know the me meaning of my dream. im applying paperwork for my wife to get the visa. anyways i send the paper work and in my dream i was at the stationary where they aprove or deny the paper work and when the opened the envlope the frist thing they sawl was a brown cloth and it was really small it had something to do with the quran it had some white letters from the quran and the lady grabed the cloth and dident even look at my paper work and said that they wont give visa.... can someone please help me and tell me the meaning of this

    • dilgesh, we cannot interpret the dream for you. You are the most qualified to do so, since you know how the dream made you feel and what was in your heart. Don't worry too much about your dream. Instead just rely on dua' to Allah SWT for success in getting the visa.

    • Waseem,

We do not interpret dreams, nor possess the knowledge to interpret dreams. If you liked the dream, thank Allah for it and do not narrate it to anyone except those you trust. But if you did not like it, never narrate it to anyone whosoever and seek Allah Refuge from it.

  10. AOA. I'm 16 years old and I'm doing my O'levels...

    • rehma, as-salamu alaykum. You need to register and submit your question as a separate post, and we will advise you in turn, Insha'Allah. I can tell you briefly that you did the right thing in the past by cutting off all communication with the guy. That's what you need to do.
