Please advise me some remedies for my stomach pain.
Assalam O Alaikum,
I started to bleed very heavy 6 weeks ago; I have been to the doctors and have been told that I have fibroids in my womb. I am on medication to try to stop the bleeding, then I need to have a biopsy to check that I do not have cervical cancer. I am taking tablets and injections from the doctor but the bleeding is still with me and now my stomach is swollen and sore. Please advise me on any remedies given by the Prophet Muhammed PBUH that may ease the pain in my stomach.

I am so sorry for the pain and health issues you are suffering from. Many sisters I know have the same problem, may Allah grant us with strong eemaan and good health.
I do not know of any specific remedies for stomach pain by the Prophet(sws), but the following hadith may help:
Narrated ‘Aisha: “Whenever Allah’s Apostle became sick, he would recite Mu’awwidhatayn (Surah al-Falaq and Surah an-Nas) and then blow his breath over his body. When he became seriously ill, I used to recite (these two suras) and rub his hands over his body hoping for its blessings. (Sahih al-Bukhari Vol.6 Bk.6 No.535)

Sister Hoda, just keep making dua' to Allah to heal you and make you well; and of course follow the advice of your doctors.
If you don't currently exercise, then begin an exercise program. My experience has been that many of our illnesses result from a sedentary lifestyle. Our bodies were made to move and exert themselves. It's only in the modern era that we have jobs that keep us in front of a computer, or sitting down all day long. When we start exercising every day it works a remarkable transformation on the body and you'll find that many of your health problems will disappear, Insha'Allah.

AOA sister, sorry about the pain and discomfort you are expereincing. Do you know how big the fibroids are, and how severe is the pain? Have they arranged for a scan? If you are in very severe pain, go back to your doctor or emergency department for further investigation. I am not sure what medication you are on, but mefenemic acid should help if you havent already tried it, or another non steroidal anti inflammatory pain killer e.g. ibuprofen etc.
Also with regards to spiritual advice, I read in a book of supplications compiled by Saeed ibn ali ibn wahf al qahtaani, that when you are feeling some pain in the body you should place your hand at the site of the pain and say bismillahi (in the name of Allah) three times, and then recite seven times Aoodhu billahi wa qudariti min sharri ma ajidu wa oohazeeroo (I take refuge in Allah and within his omnipotence from the evil that I feel and am wary of).

May Allah give you they best health I would suggest that you pray some extra nafl or summary so that Allah gives you a healthy life I will also do special discount for you and will also tell my family and friends may Allah give you shifah
I'm an alimah that is why I'm suggesting it to you I will ask other family and friends if they know of any cure
