Afraid of istikhara
Assalamualaikum.
My family came to know about my relationship and want him to bring rishta but he says he want to stand on his legs first and then will talk at home we both are studing and he says to wait for 6 years, my mother is doing istikhara without telling anyone and now i am afraid if it goes negative will i not be able to marry him? we love each other a lot i cant afford to lose him.

Either it can say:
Go ahead with rishta
Or
Don't make the rishta
Or the rare case of either do it or don't do it.
I had a cousin who went against her Istaqarra (it said no)
And she suffered greatly
