Am I allowed to scuba dive while fasting during Ramadan?
Asalamualaikum warahmathullahi wabarakatouhou.
Dear brothers and Sisters
My question is can a muslim swim or do scuba diving during Ramadan while he is fasting? It's not for pleasure but it's my duty as diving instructor . Normally it is prohibited to use any ear drop while fasting and when one dive also the water penetrate our nose and ears. This confuse me if my rosa is being accepted or not?

When I first read your question, I thought: "actually, I don't know" (nobody's asked me about diving before)... But I found a similar question on islamqa.info, which suggests that you could swim and dive, so long as you tried as much as possible to avoid water reaching your stomach.
