  1. Assalamu'alaikum wa rahmatulalh Algeria,

The first step is to admit you have a problem, so well done, you are already there! đŸ™‚ Your problem is just a matter of choosing good over evil which takes will power and the understanding that every action has a consequences. You must return all the things you stole back to their owners if this is possible. Yes, you are going to feel awkward and lowly but that's the price you pay for doing something "lowly" and sinful. You have to apologize to whoever you know you lied to and may have hurt, Insha'Allah. And you must turn to Allah subhanhu wa tala and beg, plead, and cry for forgivness. Which means you sincerely intend you will not do it again. Allah subhanu wa tala Forgives all sins except for those who associate partners to Him. So have hope in His Mercy, and fear His Punishment because it is severe.
Lastly I want you to look into yourself and ask yourself "why do I do what I do?". It obviously gives you some sort of pleasure which is normally the case in regards to sin, but that pleasure quickly wears off and you feel like dirt. This is the nature of sin. While if you do good, you may feel tired/lazy but if you push yourself your result is a prolonged feeling of contentment and happiness. Perhaps you are in bad company? Perhaps you fear disappointing people? Perhaps you are bored? Perhaps you are looking for attention and this is making up for it? Think really hard and try and understand where the desire to choose evil over good is coming from. Always remember to seek refuge in Allah subhanhu wa tala from Shaytaan the accursed who's job in this world is to stray you from path to Jannatual Firdos. He whispers in your ear to commit evil and make you weaker - the best way to get rid of him is to say "Autho billahi minash shaytaan nir rajeem", I seek refuge in Allah subhanhu wa tala from shaytaan.

Always remember to make dua and ask Allah subhanhuwa tala for strength to repel evil. One more thing, if you commit and evil make up for it by doing a good deed. Correct yourself when you see yourself lying or wanting to steal stop yourself by reminding yourself that the lowest punishment in the fire is drinking boiling water/pouring it on your head. Try it out if you want to see if it's worth it! Eventually you will develop good habits, but it takes effort, consistency, and SINCERE INTENTION!

May Allah subhanhu wa tala make it easy for you and give you strength to be a righteous Muslim...Ameen

  2. As salamu alaykum Algeria,

    Ameen. Umm Abdullah.

Algeria, surrender to Allah(swt), go to a place where you feel comfortable and nobody will disturb you for a while, talk to Allah(swt), talk to Him like you have been a long time without being with Him, get close to Him, feel His warmth in your Heart, be conscious of His Presence, repent, pray, cry, talk,... renew your contact with Him.

Alhamdulillah, you have the choice to be your best and you want to choose to be your best, Alhamdulillah, surrender to Allah(swt), you will get it , insha´Allah.

It is really enchanting and satisfying to go through this all practice to help Muslims to remain in the sphere of ALLAH RABB UL IZZAT to avoid punishment hereafter for our mistakes, wrong doings and sins.
    Jaza k ALLAH fiddarein.
