Confused about her istikhara result

confusion decision

I'm a brother in islam ,a graduate and working class. there is this sister that I like so much and we have been together for a year now. My family and her family know about us. But recently she said she did istikhara about us and the result she got is that she needs to wait for the right time and the right person..... I'm so confused and think she's trying to scare me away.

  1. My bro. when a person does any kind of haram do you think any good will come about.Tell her this shaitan is always present especially when there is just the two of you.Get nikah and save yourself from sin and punishment in the hereafter!!

  2. I can relate to the same situation.....She did istekhara and declined the nikkah proposal which was accepted before, based on an istekhara done by another person who seem to know all. this sort of situation can be really disctracting and mentally exhausting...I can only suggest tht u pursuade her to do istekhara on her own and than make a decision, believing what she feels like to do. Allah will do rest, if she is meant to be.. ur paths will free from all obstacle and vice versa. 🙂

  3. She is probably blowing you off brother.
no need to pursue her and take hits to your dignity/self respect.

  4. Salaam brother,

If she has done the Istikhara the right way and has interpreted the result in a right way then it is good for you both to not marry each other.

But I think MAYBE she is not interested in getting married to you and spending the rest of her life with you. So she is trying to give you a hint politely that she doesn't want to get married to you.

You have spent more time with her and you must have gotten some other signs from her showing her interest towards you decreasing. If that is the case then it is better to go apart in a respectful way.

Also, both of you must repent from your sins. It is haram for a boy and girl to date and be together no matter your intentions. The only way you both should have spent time together was by marrying. So repent and ask forgiveness and please do not repeat this mistake again.

May Allah grant you a righteous spouse.
