Dream of Prophet (SAW) as a huge giant, dressed in gold robes.

istikhara colour

As salaamualaykum

I had this dream some years ago before I got married and at a time when I was far from my deen.

In my dream I am running around looking for someone and I see a Prophet making food over a fire (I don't know why but I assume it was Prophet Musa (as) . I ask him,"where is he,where is he?" In an urgent manner and he points me in a direction and I run fervently toward that way.I then see a huge pair of feet in sandals of old but its like those huge statue feet and all gold. And I start becoming in awe of His presence and a huge hand gestures for me to take his hand and i put my tiny hand in his hand and he says "everything will be fine".

I woke up and felt like I never ever felt before.I never had a dream like this and wanted desperately to go back and have been yearning for a dream like this.My life did indeed change after that and I became a better muslim alhamdulillah because I have a wonderful spouse.

I believe it was the Prophet (saw) and felt that when I awoke too But im not 100%sure because they say u have to see his face? And I never. He was just this huge beautiful figure. What could my dream have meant?

Shukran for any help

Glad tidings

  1. Walaikumassalaam.

Mashallah, what a beautiful dream you had. May Allah bless you with more good dreams. I'm afraid it was not the Prophet (saw) because whenever the Prophet appears in someone's dream, he (saw) appears in his (saw) true form.and we know that Prophet (saw) was not giant.

However, it could be very well some other Prophet, like you said, Musa (AS), and seeing any of Allah's prophets looking gracious, stately and courtly in a dream also represents his people's devotion or that a major and a positive change will take place among his followers.

    • your first statement ***I'm afraid it was not the Prophet (saw) because whenever the Prophet appears in someone's dream, he (saw) appears in his (saw) true form.and we know that Prophet (saw) was not giant.

Answer :she is not saying he is giant may Allah forgive us she is saying she saw him huge means tall and huge figure not a giant

your other statement"However, it could be very well some other Prophet"
how can you be so sure that it is some other Prophet while she had the vibes that is Rasool Allah S.A.W

why cant any Muslim see Rasool Allah in his/ her dreams these days. do you mean there should be come criteria according to the faith or the prophet will only appear in the dream of muftis scholars and maulanas and very pious, religious hijab covered ladies and not ordinary average Muslims like us

i have to say here i am very sure that Muslims these days cant stand eachother if some one sees Prophet P.b.u.h in his / her dream they cant bearit coz of jealousy or they think that the other person cant see he is just ordinary how it can be or may be your iman is so low that you people get confused.

since i have joined this site, i have always seen people denying others, hurting the questioner that they cant see Holy Prophet in their dreams.

i am very sure if she got the vibes that it is Prophet Muhammad then there is no denying that it was Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.

      • Assalamalaikum, Dear Monroe.

Mashallah, I'm sure you're familiar with the synonyms of the word huge, like: enormous, vast, immense, very large, very big, great, massive, cosmic, colossal, prodigious, gigantic, gargantuan, mammoth, monumental, tremendous, stupendous, giant, towering, hefty, bulky, weighty, heavy, gross, monstrous, elephantine, mountainous, titanic

Let's read some hadiths about physical Descriptions of the Prophet (SAW) According to Saheeh Bukhari and Muslim:
        Book 030, Hadith Number 5772.
Al-Bara' reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) had the most handsome face amongst men and he had the best disposition and he was neither very tall nor short-statured.

        Book 030, Hadith Number 5778.
Abu Tufail reported: I saw Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and there is one amongst the people of the earth who (are living at the present time and) had seen him except me. I said to him: How did you find him? He said: He had an elegant white colour, and he was of an average height.

        Volume 004, Book 056, Hadith Number 749.
Narated By Al-Bara : Allah's Apostle was the handsomest of all the people, and had the best appearance. He was neither very tall nor short.

Nowhere is the word huge or its synonyms used in hadiths to describe the Prophet (SAW0)'s stature.

I said that it could be very well some other Prophet because as she said "(I don't know why but I assume it was Prophet Musa (AS)" ("I woke up and felt like I never ever felt before.I never had a dream like this") One of the signs that a dream is true and from Allah is that it has clarityaccording to Muhammad Mustafa al-Jibaly, who wrote the book 'The Dreamer's Handbook' which is the most famous book in English to be ever written on dream interpretation in Islam. Hence I said it could be some other Prophet.

And you also say "why cant any Muslim see Rasool Allah in his/ her dreams these days"

-Well, a verse in the Quran reads as: 4:152: "And those who believe in God and His messengers and do not make a distinction between any of them - God will grant them their rewards; and God is Forgiving, Merciful." So, if what you've said was true, I wouldn't have said it could be some other prophet.

"do you mean there should be come criteria according to the faith or the prophet will only appear in the dream of muftis scholars and maulanas and very pious, religious hijab covered ladies and not ordinary average Muslims like us"

-Hmmmm. If you read how the Sahaba (RA) interpreted the dreams of Taba'een, you will be amazed. Let's read a few dreams:
Al-Haakim narrated via ‘Aasim ibn Kulayb (who said), my father told me: I said to Ibn ‘Abbaas, “I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in a dream.” He said, “Describe him to me.” He said, “I mentioned al-Hasan ibn ‘Ali and said that he looked like him.” He said, “You did indeed see him.” Its isnaad is jayyid.

Al-Haafiz Ibn Hajar said: We have narrated it with a complete isnaad from Ismaa’eel ibn Ishaaq al-Qaadi from Sulaymaan ibn Harb – who was one of the shaykhs of al-Bukhaari – from Hammaad ibn Zayd from Ayyoob who said: If a man told Muhammad (meaning Ibn Sireen) that he had seen the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) [in a dream], he would say, “Describe to me the one whom you saw.” If he gave a description that he did not recognize, he would say, “You did not see him.” Its isnaad is saheeh

See? the Sahaba (RA) when interpreting the dreams of the Taba'een didn't say "you got the vibes, then it must be the Prophet (SAW).

However, I know that some people say that the prophet (SAW) appears only in the dreams very pious people, religious hijab covered ladies and muslims these days cant stand each other and are jealous - Believe me, I hate them more than you 🙂

May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you, Monroe and May Allah show you our Beloved Beautiful Prophet (SAW) in your dreams, ameen.
