Is there any external evidence for Quran to be the word of Allah?

Allah says in Surah ar-Rahman: "Then when the heaven is rent asunder, and it becomes rosy or red like red-oil, or red hide. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?" The picture is taken by the NASA Hubble Space Telescope of the "Cat's Eye Nebula." It is an exploding star 3,000 lightyears away. We see it now in the years 1999/2000! And the Qur'an mentioned it more than 1400 years ago

Dear sir,

Being all good are destined by Allah for those who seek Him and evil things are from the evil desires of the man. What is the account of good things from man? It sounds something unjust that Allah himself have created people for eternal life and eternal destruction.

How can you explain those words? Also when does Allah created the whole world? Is there any reference from Quran? Is there any  External evidence for Quran to be the word of Allah?

  1. I do not know if this is a troll or a sincere question. So I will give only one proof that Quran is the book of the Almighty Creator. There are hundreds of proof, but personally, this proof appeals to me most:

Quran remains the only divine book that can be memorized by people of any language. Millions of Muslims, as young as 7 years old and as old as 85 years old, of all nationalities and ethnicity have memorized the Quran word to word from the beginning to the end. Many of them even does not know how say "How are you" in Arabic, yet they have memorized this 600 page book and can recall it from their memory exactly. You can search in youtube and find imams reciting the Quran in front of millions of Muslims without looking at it. Isn't this a miracle? And what is even more miraculous is it has been told in the Quran that remembering Quran has been made easy. So Quran during the time of revelation, the Quran already claimed that this will be a book that people will be able to remember easily. People can memorize and remember it easily. Normally it takes one to two year to memorize the Quran, but there are many instances where people have memorized the Quran in less than six months. So the challenger remains: Can someone write a book as small as 25 page and openly claim that people of any language can memorize it word to word from beginning to end? The answer is it is IMPOSSIBLE. Some people says that this is circular logic. In fact it is not; rather the fact is it is humanely impossible to produce a book in a language that can be memorized word for word by people of any language.

  2. Dear Paul,, concerning your first question, no doubt all good are from Allah and evil things comes as a result of evil desire and action of man,,.. but in islam, there is what we call accountability, in which everybody would be responsible for his/her actions on ther day of judgement.. There was a time the prophet muhammad pbuh was narrating about his lord and said, "ALLAH has ordered (the appointed angels over you) that the good and bad deeds be written, and then showed (the way) how (to write). If somebody intends to do a good deed a did not do it, then Allah will write for him a full good deed (in his account with Him); and if he intends a good deed and actually does it, then allah will write for him (in his account) with Him (its reward equal) from ten to 700 times, to many more times; and if he intends to do a bad deed and does not do it (because he is afraid of allah), then allah will write a full good (in his account) with Him, then if he intend to do it (the bad deed) and actually does it, then allah will write one bad deed (in his account)" (sahih bukhari, vol.8 hadith no.498).. All good is from allah, but if someone does a good deed, he/she will see the reflection of such deed in his life, and he will be accountable for such deeds in the hereafter.. And likewise if someone does a bad deed, he would see the reflection of such deed in his life in this world and would also be accountable for such deed on judgement day.. But whoever sins and ask for Allah's forgiveness, then He would inshaallah forgive (and in some cases change the sin into a good deed in you account with HIM) because HE is oft-forgiven and most merciful and such person would not be accountable for such perticular sin on judgement day.. I would humbly answer you remaining question when am back.

    • See koran25:70...,,, But when seeking for repentance/forgiveness , someone must be remorseful of the evil deeds he commited and sincerely ask for Allah forgiveness with the intention never to go back to such action again.. And it is part of the condition for repentance for some to conceal whatever sin he commit and never to reveal to anybody ,... Coming to your second question; no brother, you misunderstoond the concept., Allah loves His creatures and He want to shower His mercy by taking them to paradise, but it is man himself that is ignoring the call and dragging himself to hell fire.. When Allah created adam, He placed the first human (adam) in paradise and gave him and his wife all the enjoyment and pleasure they need., but adam and his wife were weak in faith and they refused to heed the warning Allah gave them and they followed the deception of the devil,, and that's what led them out of paradise and came down to this world. Read koran2:30-39.... So you see God created adam and placed him in paradise, it was his actions that brought him out of paradise, and it is his good actions (coupled with the mercy of Allah) that would take him back to paradise in the hereafter... Brother, Allah/GOD has given us free will in this world., everyone can choose to beleive in Allah and do righteous deeds, or to disbeleive or do evil deeds.. But there would be a day that every one will reap what he/she sow and bear the consequences of the deeds they have done.. It is either paradise or hell,, the choice is ours. if anyone want to be in paradise, then let him/her do righteous good deeds whilst he/she is a believer (ie muslim), and if anyone want hellfire, then let him continue his disbeleive in Allah and/or continue the evil deed until death cease him/her.. Allah/GOD says ''...whenever there comes to you guidance from Me, and whoever follows My guidance, there shall be no fear on them, nor shall they greive." ''but those who disbeleive and deny our ayat (revelations, proofs, evidence, verses of the koran, signs etc) - such are the dwellers of the fire. The shall abide therein forever'' koran2:38-39... ''whoever brings a good deed (righteous deeds while he is a beleiver-muslim), shall have ten times the like thereof in his credit, and whoever bring an evil deed (polytheism, disbeleive, deeds of disobedience to Allah and his massanger pbuh) shall have the recompence the like thereof, and they will not be wronged.'' koran6:160.... So there is no injustice brother, everybody is obliged to choose what he wants (paradise or hell fire).. However all this doesnt mean Allah has no knowledge on what will happen in the future.. God is all knower and in his knowledge, He knows what has happened to His creatures in the past, what is happening to them in the present, and what will happen to them in the future.. So in this sense, He knows the destination of everyone in the future and in the hereafter.. But He wont interfere because He has given everyone options to choose which destination he/she wants (either paradise or hell fire).

  3. Concerning your question about when did Allah created this world,, the koran does not state the exact date and year God create this world because that wouldn't be necessary,, however it did state that God created the heavens, the earth and all that is between and inside the heavens and earth in six ayyawm-periods (some transtlated the arabic ayyawn as 'day'). See Koran7:54, koran50:38, koran32:4. And also it did state that the earth was created, in two periods and he placed the mountains of the earth and everything in the earth in four periods. See koran41:9-10... Also whilst He was taking His time in the creation of the earth and all that is it in this six period, He also completed the creation of the seven heavens and all that is on it in two periods (within the six periods). In simpler terms, He was doing two things at a time. He did the creation of the heavens and earth (or all that is on the earth) a at thesame time. see koran41:11:12..,,

    • Pls excuse my write- ups, for there shall be no paragraph and other punctuation marks because am browing with my phone right now.... Concerning your last question,, yes there are many evidences to proof that the koran is from Allah/GOD ALMIGHTY.... Firstly, the koran have spoken of many scientific facts 1400 years ago which could only and was only discoved by the use of modern technology not more than 100 to 200 years ago.. I would only list 2 or 3 among the thousands,, The koran speaks about the salt and fresh waters bodies meeting without mixing. ''HE has let loose the two seas (salt and fresh water) meeting together.'' ''between then is an barrier which none of them can transgress.'' koran55:19-20. Recently oceanologist have discovered that in places where two different seas meet, the waters do not freely mix with each other, and there is a kind of invisible barrier between them which divide the two seas so that each sea has it's own temperature, salinity and density.. See also koran25:53.... Also the koran speak of the shape of the earth which was first prooven in 1597 (ie a thousand years after the koran stated it ) by the scientist. "and the earth, moreover has He made egg shaped''. Koran79:30 The arabic word for egg in the verse is dahaha., which means an ostrich-egg. The shape of an ostrich egg resambles the geo-spherical shape of the earth.. (although some translators of the koran have translated the word dahaha to mean "vast expanse", which is also correct. But the word dahaha also means an ostrich egg) .... Again, the koran speaks of the movement of the sun and all the other celestial bodies in koran21:33,, initially, the modern scientists and astronomers thought the sun is fixed in one place and doesnt move and it is the earth that revolve round the sun and i was also thought this fallacy when i was in school.. But just recently, this same astronomers discovered the fact that the sun actually rotate about it axis and completes the circular motion in 25 to 27 days. In fact they discovered that the sun travels through space at roughly 150 miles per second, and takes about 200 million years to complete one revolution around the center of our milky way galaxy. The rotation of the sun can be prooved with the an equipment that projects the image of the sun without being blinded... Who would have told muhammad pbuh all this facts which was only prooven within the 19th or 20th century with the help of highly modernize and technical equipments??? It is the creator (God) of all this things that informed him.. Again the koran gave a cretaria for someone to know whether a book is from God or not,, "do they not consider the koran carefully? Had it been from (any) other than Allah, they would surely have found therein many a contradiction.'' koran4:82... Any book claiming to be from God ought to be infallible, and have no contradictions.. The koran is the only religious book on the surface of the earth that maintain it purity and identity since it was revealed 1400 years ago and with no contradiction.. Whereas other religions scripture have been distorted and corrupted over time, and also contain many contradictions... moreover the koran is the only book on earth that claims that it is from Allah,, ''the most gracious (Allah)!.'' ''HE has taught (you mankind) the quran (by His mercy)..koran55:1-2... See also koran44:1-3, koran45:1-5, koran46:1-2.., And such an explicit claim was not to be found made by any other religions scriptures in this world.. Hope i answered your questions.. Thank you
