Islamic marriage advice and family advice

When will I get a suitable job?

Finding a job can be difficult in this job market. Here are some tips.

SALAAM ALAIKUM!

Please, advice me, how will I get a suitable job around the world because I have two children and still not well settled? I have five years experience  in a clinical line as a medical practicioner at Kolkata and now I have left my medical practice.

My family insist that I open my own clinic but I need money that I don´t have

How and when and where will I get a suitable job?

My marital life is disturbed nowadays,  my wife doesn´t want  to live  with my parents, and I will not leave my parents.

Salaam Salimakhters,

Finding a suitable job takes time, and all you really need is a plan on how you will get there, and be determined about it. Collate a list of all of the practices in your area, and all of the places where you may be able to find a job - including practices, charitable organisations, hospitals and others - and target each one individually and approach them one by one until you get somewhere with your job search. Be willing to move to work, you may need to move to a different area, a different city or even a different country until the job market in your area improves and you can return.

If you seek to open your own practice, but do not have the funds to do so - you may seek a sponsor, or start a charity and fundraise. In order to do this you must first have a clear business plan which plans out how your practice will survive after the initial investment. If your practice is for a good cause, you may approach a number of humanitarian organisations to work with. If your practice is for business purposes, then you may approach corporate companies with a proposal detailing the level of investment required, and what they will receive out of that investment. Many corporate companies benefit from doing good deeds, and helping you open a practice will be a good marketing exercise for them.

Overall, the four major qualities you will need are determination, patience and perseverance and planning (strategy).

There is a common saying in the UK that you need to get through five "no"'s before you get to a "yes" - so do not let knock backs and rejections get you down.

I pray you success in your venture,

Peace,
