  1. Why don't you become a muslim ?

    Did you know that,

We Muslims worship Allah - the one and only GOD who created you and me and all that exists.
The GOD of Adam, Noah , Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammed (peace be upon them) and all.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“O mankind! Worship your Lord (Allaah), Who has created you and those before you so that you may become al-muttaqoon (the pious).” [al-Baqarah 2:21]

why did Jesus(peace be upon him) the son of Mary (may Allah be pleased with her) came to this earth?
Jesus came to teach people about ALLAH. He came to teach people to worship none but ALLAH alone without associating any partners with HIM.

    Allah says
“And I (Allah) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone)”
    {Quran 51:56}

    Allah says,

Say, "He is Allah , [who is] One,
"Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks).
He neither begets nor is born,
"And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him."

    (Quran 112: 1-4)

Allah alone deserves to be worshiped.
HE has no father, mother, brother, sister or son.
    HE is not like us.
There is no one like HIM.

what is the purpose of this life? just study, earn, marry, children and die or there is more to it?

Do you know that this life is temporary?? and we will die and will be raised up again and there is going to be a day of judgement?

Please Research about Islam. See how it makes sense inshaAllah.

I want you to be saved from the hell fire and enter Heaven so I invite you to Islam.

he would say: "Allah has made it unlawful for the believers to marry ladies who ascribe partners in worship to Allah, and I do not know of a greater thing, as regards to ascribing partners in worship to Allah, than a lady
who says that Jesus is her Lord although he is just one of Allah's slaves."Bukhari Vol. 7 : No. 209

      • Anna, I removed the article you quoted from. Did you even read it? It was from a Christian source and was highly critical of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad (sws).

  3. Salaam sis cheried

You as a christian woman please research our religion and the rights of the father over the children. I have seen too many faithful christian women later upset bcos they didnt kniw how much influence islam would have over their lives. You have your religion and i have mine. Think with your heart and mind. Your child will not as a muslim learn that jesus pbuh is the last prophet and the child
Will be raised as a muslim. I am not here to tell you to be become muslim as i respect your religion as your own. Think wisely.

    • What do you mean by, "Jesus pbuh is the last prophet"?

      Wael Editor

      • Hi Jesus is a Messiah, and he will return as a Messiah, not a prophet... so he is not the last prophet....

If I am wrong correct me....

        • Of course Jesus (pbuh) was not the last Prophet, as the last Prophet was Muhammad (sws), the Seal of the Messengers. Jesus (pbuh) will return one day, but as a follower of Prophet Muhammad (sws), not as a Prophet himself.

          • yes this is how i believe it too. only her comment confused me and made me thing the wrong way. so that is why i asked. jazakallah. anna

    • Assalam o aliekum...ayatibinthamza

where does it say in the Quran that Jesus (AS) is the last prophet.
Please read the Kalma and it is translation and you will know your self who is the last prophet. May ALLAH guide you to the right path, ameen.

      • As-salamu Alaykum,
He's not saying Jesus (PBUH) is the last prophet. He's saying that a Muslim husband will want to raise his child as a Muslim and not teach him that Jesus (PBUH) is the last prophet as the Christians believe.

  4. Brother abdullah.

Christians if faithful will go to heaven. Please the fear mongering has to end. You cannot maje a judgment for allah swt . That is like saying all chrisitans and people of the book are going to hell. Allah swt is merciful. It is all a personal relationship with allah swt. To her your beliefs may lead you to hell. She has a right to her beliefs.

    • You also cannot make a judgement for Allah by saying that Christians will go to heaven. To worship something or someone beside Allah (as the Christians worship Jesus, pbuh) is the greatest sin. You are right, our core belief must be a personal relationship with Allah, NOT with Jesus, Buddha, Krishna or anyone else. However, a person may not have heard of Islam, or may not have realized the truth of Tawheed. Allah will deal with each person justly, there is no doubt of that. I cannot say what the final disposition of a Christian will be, and neither can you.

I did not want to see this post turn into a debate on Islam vs. Christianity, as it's not relevant to the poster's question. But you made these statements and I felt they needed a response.

    • Messenger of Allah said : "‘Seeking knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim.’” (Ibn Majah)

      I'm included ofcourse 🙂

So start with the Quran and so on.

  6. CherieD, there have been some debates on irrelevant questions here. happilymarried gave you the correct answer: yes, you can marry him.

    • Hello Lost,
Sorry to hear about your situation, do inform his parents (after you find out where he is) to make him commit to support you in raising the child as he is responsible and child has right too. He may force/talk you into abortion but never do that; it's like taking life. Please browse our forum for similar posts; there have been many such posts and I am sure you will find them helpful. Ultimately, please log in and write your question as a separate post and it will be published on it's turn.

  8. whoevere intends a good or a bad deed

narrated abbas: the prophet pbuh narrating about his load said, "Allah ordered (the appinted angels over you) that the good and the bad deeds be written, and He showed (the way) how (to write). if somebody intends to do a good deed and he doesnot do it, then Allah will write for him a full good deed (in his account with Him); and if he intends to do a good deed and actually does it, then Allah will write for him (in his account) with HIM (its reward equal) from ten to seven hundred times, to many more times; and if somebody intended to do a bad deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write a full good deed (in his accounr) with HIM, and if he intended to it (a bad deed) and actually does it, then Allah will write one bad deed (in his account)." (sahih Al-Bukhari, vol. 8, hadith No. 498)

subhanallah (praise be to Allah), just look at the mercy of Allah,

you intend a good deed, and Allah would give you the full reward of that particular deed, even if you dont actually do the good deed.

and if you are fortunate enough to actualize your intention, by doing the good deed, then Allah would multiply the reward times ten to seven hundred times or even more, depending on your sincerity and intention and how perfect you have done the righteous deed.

you intend to do a bad deed and you refuse to actualise your intention, then Allah will reward you for not doing that evil deed.

it is when you intend to do a bad deed, and you actually do it, thats when Allah will record ONLY one bad deed in your account with HIM.

not t even mention that if you ask for ALLAAH's forgiveness, He would even cancil that one bad deed He recorded in your accont.

but note that Allah will not forgive a cheater or oppressor until the cheated and the oppressed actually forgive the cheater or oppressor. is this not just?

also note that sins do vary, some are major and some are minor, if you shun the major sins, Allah will overlook and forgive the minor sins you committed even without you asking Him for forgiveness

and if you commit the major sins, then you have to make a sincere repentance with the intention that you will never go back to such sin again. then Allah shall forgive you because HE is oft forgiven, most merciful.

now, on judgement day, this recorded good and bad deeds in your account would be weighed. if the good outweighs the evil, then paradise is for you. and if the bad outweighs the good deeds, the hell fire is your destination.

this is how to attain salvation .

logically, this even makes more sense than believing that someone else died for your sins and all you need to do is to accept he died for you, and having that believe has automatically granted you salvation from hellfire, irrespective of what sins you have committed . lol

    • very informative. jazakallahu khair.

    • beautiful comment and good information is given in this comment. May ALLAH guide us all on the right path and make us more knowledgeable to Islam,a nd make us good Muslims ameen. ANNA

    • mohd, you said, "now, on judgement day, this recorded good and bad deeds in your account would be weighed. if the good outweighs the evil, then paradise is for you. and if the bad outweighs the good deeds, the hell fire is your destination."

Do you have any support for this statement?

      • Salam'alaykum,

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour:

What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour?

And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is?

(It is) a Day whereon people will be like moths scattered about,

And the mountains will be like carded wool.

Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy,

Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction.

But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,-

Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit.

And what will explain to thee what this is?

(It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely!

        (Quran Al-Qari'ah 101)

And verily, We shall recount their whole story with knowledge, for We were never absent (at any time or place).

The balance that day will be true (to nicety): those whose scale (of good) will be heavy, will prosper:

Those whose scale will be light, will be their souls in perdition, for that they wrongfully treated Our signs.

        (Quran Al 'Araf 7:7-9)

  9. to the editors

why did you remove my first reply to ayatbinthamza??

    • Because it's not up to you to tell people they are going to Hell, or to decide who is going to Hell. If you want to quote from the Quran that's fine and welcome. But no human being can determine anyone's final disposition.

      Wael Editor

      • brother wael,

did you actually read the first comment??? how would you say i parsonally condemn people to hell fire??? am only telling you what islam says. those are not my words. and i repeat, whoever allows himself to die in a state of disbelieve (ie as a nonmuslim), then hell fire is his final abode, and he shall dwell therein forever. whoever allows himself to go back to Allah with a religion other than islam, it will never be accepted of him, and on judgement day, he will be among the loosers.

these are not my words, these are plain and clear warnings from the holy koran.

am not pointing a finger and saying to anyone 'you will go to hell fire'. but am saying anyone that allows himself to die as a nonmuslim is going to dwell in hell fire FOR ALL ETERNITY.

now , nobody can point a finger to a nonmuslim whilst he's still alive and tell him that he is going to hell fire. because no one knows the gaib, he might revert back to islam before his dead.

but someone can be certain to say that a parson who allows himself to die as a nonmuslim (no matter how good or kind he is) is going to hell fire, and he is going to dwell therein forever..

i know why you removed the first comment, its not becuse of the reason you gave, because YOU KNOW as i know that what i posted is the truth without any doubt.

the reason why you removed the comment is because the op is a christian, and some readers are also nonmuslims, and in the post i made it too explicit that any person that died as a nonmuslim is going to abide in hell fire forever. you felt its too heavy to bear and its not the proper way to attract nonmuslim guest to this forum, and i might push them away.

ok then, could you kindy email my first comment to ayatbinthamza?? because i believe shes not well vast in her deen and she need that reply anyway.

and could you remove the comment she made?? because it is misleading and she said it without knowledge. someone with shallow knowledge might believe her statement, and might go with the notion that whether you are a muslim or nonmuslim, you are going to see heaven, as long as you believe in Allah and the last day.
