Islamic marriage advice and family advice

I need major closure on this topic

asalamualaikum brothers and sisters, and to the good soul who would be answering my question, but I really need an answer for this. It is something iam extremely embarrassed and am too humiliated to go to my parents for help as I do not want to cause them anymore hardship with this. My issue is that I have commited zinah 3 times and after the last, Iam so scared that Allah will not forgive me because I do not know if I’m sincere, I seriously dread the day of judgement and am terrified of answering for my sins to him so I want to know how do I repent for this. I feel so ashamed and scared because of the sin, I regret it so greatly I feel like disappearing because of the scum I have become after being raised by such righteous and great parents, I feel as though I do not deserve to live, please whoever is going to read this. Help me, how can I repent, how can I make sure I don’t commit this sin again (I have broken all ties with the person so the person is gone and out of the picture). I’m so scared of Allah and I do not want to be punished in the hereafter and especially in my grave because of this. Please help me. I fear Allah and iam embarassed of letting my amazing parents down.

  1. Asalamualikum warahmatulahi wabarakatuh sister. The only thing I can tell you to do is namaz and dhikr that’s the only way it can help and repent, ask for forgiveness it will help you inshaallah. But before you ask for forgiveness you have to forgive yourself, dhikr and repentence is the only thing that can solve your problems inshaallah. And Allah aza-wajal himself said I can forgive every other sin but shirk

  2. If you feel remorse, genuine remorse over what you did, and fear Allah, simply pray 2 rakat (units) of salah (prayer) and make a dua of repentance, seeking forgiveness, and make a resolution, with a FIRM resolve, never to commit the actions again, by cutting off the avenues that lead to the sin.

Thereafter, bury the sin deep inside your heart, lock it away, and throw away the key, never revealing it to ANYONE, other than Allah. We are commanded to conceal our sins and if you reveal yours, it can affect many things in your life, influence others to sin through the seed of thought of the sin, or open doors for others to abuse you.

After this, draw near to the proximity of Allah, draw close to Him through observing the obligatory actions of the deen (if you don't do so already). Be steady in these acts of worship and add sunnahs to build up your faith, thereafter immerse yourself in learning about Allah. He is All Forgiving, The Seeker of Repentance, The Merciful, The Compassionate, learn His names and attributes, as this will increase your hope in his mercy. Don't despair, as that is a major sin, rather hope in Allah's Mercy as no sin is too big for Allah to forgive so long as you repent in time.

We were created in weakness, innately, so that we commit sins throughout our lifetime, in order to draw close to Allah through repentance by reliance on Him.

THE SIGNS THAT YOU HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN are, that you have drawn closer to Allah, and you observe the obligatory actions, act upon the sunnahs and refrain from sin. Habituate yourself to doing good deeds and good deeds cancel out the bad.

    And Allah knows best.

  3. Assalamalek dear sister.

Alaah is merciful do not lose is because Allah has blessed you with good parents you have realised you have done wrong.
The cursed Shaytan made one promise to Allah that he will lead human to the wrong path and commit sins. and Allah made another promise that will for give all his servants sins even as long as they ask forgiveness.
Stay strong, be very good to your parents, continue with you salaH and get closer to Allah.
    In Surah Zumur Allah says:
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."
    Recite after namaZ
"AllhummA afuuwwun Karimun Tuhibbun Afwafu Fafu Anni"

May Allah gives you peace of mind & heart accept your repentance.

Please keep us in your doa

  4. Start to pray 5 times a day, never miss your prayers. Keep on asking to Allah for forgiveness.
Make sincere Tawbah and never ever go towards zina again. Try to do good works (like giving charity, praying for the forgiveness of other Muslim brothers and sisters etc.).
Try to catch up the Tahajud Prayers, seek forgiveness in that time. Cry and beg to Allah for forgiveness.
Also, please do not reveal your sin to anyone (not even your parents i would suggest). Just pray to Allah to make your sin hidden in this world and the world hereafter.
Listen to Islamic scholars videos regarding zina, it will help you.

You are ashamed of your sin and this is the best time to make your bond stronger with Allah. Try to read Quran daily with translation.
May Allah accept your repentance. Ameen

  5. Wasalam,

Sister, I know you are guilt tripping yourself for all the sins you have committed and believe that there is no redemption for you. The first thing you should do is acceptance. Accept that you have committed this act multiple times and know that this is a major sin. Accept that this already happened in the past and you can't undo what has been done. Then you need to progress forward. Don't delve in the past because you are still alive and well. Allah has granted you the ability to heal and improve yourself. He is the most merciful and all-forgiving. Have the intentions that you won't do this ever again and will improve your imam.

Pray to Allah and make dhikr. Attend lectures about the beauty of Islam. Listen to interpretation of hadiths and stories about the prophets and important people as well. You'll see that Islam is not a religion where you just follow rules and if you make a mistake or sin, you'll get punished severely. There is a reason to everything and SubhanAllah you'll cry at how Allah has provided the most beautiful religion. Start the day with Alhamdulilah and smile and proceed to improving your life and let go of that guilt 🙂

May Allah forgive you and shine his Noor upon you. May Allah guide you to the straight path and to Jannah. May Allah ease your pains and suffering and grant you happiness. Ameen.

  6. Salam,

    1) Try fasting, it should increase your willpower and hopefully help the next time you're faced with committing zina.
    2) Do what it takes to lose interest. If you're about to go into a situation, become well satisfied, then you can't possibly get in the mood so there's little to no chance of zina.
    3) Gain shame so you keep your pants on. If you can't take your pants off it will help a lot in not doing zina.

As for the hell issue, you're going to have to do a lot of good deeds to outweigh this deed. Also ask for forgiveness.
