I promised Allah that if I returned to my sin, HE can make me infertile
Aoa everyone. I hope this msg will find you in best of ur health and high spirits. I am very much mentally disturbed because I broke a promise to Allah not for once but for several times.
Let me tell you background of this promise: it all started last year when I was married (now I am divorced) I used to have a bad habit (don’t want to disclose it). Anyway I wanted to get rid of it that’s why I promised to Allah that I promise to You that I wont do that again, if I do then as a consequence u can make me infertile (I know I gave Him such a big consequence myself).
Then after sometime I broke that promise. I felt guilty but I repented and then again I promised and then again I broke it hence the cycle of breaking, repenting, continued. BUT now I am so much disturbed, I fear what if Allah makes me infertile forever.
I feel disgusted whenever I break promise to Allah who has blessed me so much. Will Allah forgive me? How can I keep my promise? By the way I am 23 years old and I live in Pakistan. I hope to hear from u all soon please do reply take care Allah hafiz.

Allah did not need your permission. You cannot tell him that if you do something then he is allowed anything. So don't worry. If he wanted you fertile then he would have made you that way no matter what.
Dear sister when you make a promise make sure you always try your very best to fulfill it... I know there are times where you can't ,but still try. In your case you kept breaking your promises in which Allah may be upset. The best advice I can give you is pray five times a day,and remmber Allah as much as you can... Ask allah to forgive you for your bad sins... and now on when you make a promise remmber that Allah is watching you.....
thank huda for such an advise
rushali, stop making oaths. And you must learn how to pray. Go the masjid and ask someone to teach you, or ask one of your teachers to show you.

DEAR ZUBAIDA SISTER,
sorry i write in block letters for visibility for my eyes.
ASSALAMALAIKUM.
1ST THING IS TO KNOW THE MISTAKE HOW SERIOUS IT IS HOW BIG THE SIN THEN WE WILL KNOW IF IT IS A PARDONABLE OR VERY SERIOUS NATURE FALLS IN THE UN FORGIVABLE SINS GROUP.
SO HINT SOME NAME OR SENTENCE OF YOUR SIN WHICH IS SO ATTRACTIVE THAT YOU FAIL FREQUENTLY IN KEEPING PROMISE WITH ALLAH.
AND KEEPING AWAY FROM THE ROUTE OF THE SIN IS THE 1ST STEP TO AVOID IT IF THE SOURCE IS CLOSE YOU GO ON PROMISING AND BREAKING REPEATEDLY IT IS LIKE LOOSING THE VALUE OF PROMISE THAT ALSO WITH ALLAH.
SO PL TRY TO QURAN MORE AND MORE TIME LIKE WHEN EVER YOU GET TIME RUN TOWARDS IT OR ELSE SATAN WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO REACH IT MAY BE WITH THE BOOK OF ALLAH YOU MAY OVER COME THE WEAKNESSES IN OYU.
Regards
ali yousuff.
Salamu'alaiki sister,
Verily, Allah has the Power to do all things. If He wishes to make you infertile, no power can stop Him. but know that He is The Oft Forgiving and The Most Merciful. When you sinned and repented, it was not as serious, but when you promised to Allah and you broke it, you sinned more seriously.
I suppose the nature of the sin you mentioned is that it is totally Haraam hence, I urge you to get married as soon as possible, in order to avoid repeating this. If you can not now, then do fasts, because this helps a lot, as mentioned by Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam.
repent to Allah, be in the company of the Righteous women, increase your supplications and remembrance of Allah and keep yourself busy in this. And insha Allah, you'll find less time for sin, in which, you can insha Allah control and shoo Shaitaan away. Do not obey the Shaitaan, sister.
Would you like it if your relatives saw you committing this sin? Then what about Allah? He Sees you, wherever you are. Fear Him and abstain from that sin, as soon as possible
May Allah make it easy
Aameen
Wassalamu'alaikum
Muhammad Waseem
Make sincere tawbah for the sin you committed and stay far away from it. Make the firm intention to stay away but do not make another oath. This is something that should be avoided. Sinning is bad but we are humans and prone to mistake and it is foolish to make an oath, especially one where you are asking Allah to punish you/ afflict you with something if you break it.
Allah swt can make you infertile regardless of this if He wishes - you do not give permission for Him to do this - He does not need permission. So I believe it was wrong to make such a negotiation. e.g. 'If I do this/ if I dont do this then Allah can do this." Allah knows best - but either way - avoid it.
The best thing for you to do is sincerely repent if you commit a sin and work hard to stay away from the sin by not going anywhere near it. Ask Allah for help with keeping away from it - and ask Him for His forgiveness and Mercy.
Allah does not want to punish us - He wants to forgive us - so rather than asking for punishment - ask Him for forgiveness.
"As Muslims, we should have certainty of faith in Allah’s boundless grace. We should know that our Lord’s generosity has no limits and His mercy extends to all things.
Therefore, we should never beseech Allah to punish us or hasten on His wrath. We should instead seek Allah’s forgiveness in earnest, with full knowledge that Allah forgives everyone who turns to Him in sincere repentance.
We should never see our sins as being greater than Allah’s forgiveness. Allah not only accepts our repentance, he commands us to repent.
He says: “Beseech Me in supplication. I will answer you.” [Sûrah Ghâfir: 60]
This is Allah’s command and His promise. His command is just and His promise is true.
Allah has no need of punishing His servants who worship Him with sincerity. Allah says: “What can Allah gain by your punishment, if you are grateful and you believe? Nay, it is Allah that recognizes (all good), and knows all things.” [Sûrah al-Nisâ’: 147]
When we beseech Allah, we should seek His pardon and then pray for success in this world and the next.
Anas relates the following in Sahîh Muslim (2688):
Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) went to visit a Muslim man who had become stricken by a debilitating illness. He asked the man: “Had you made any supplication or asked Him for anything?”
The man said: “Yes, I did. I asked: O Allah! Whatever You have to punish me with in the Hereafter, hasten it on in this world.”
Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said: “Glory be to Allah! You would not be able to bear it. You should rather have asked: O Allah! Grant us the good of this world and the good of the Hereafter and save us from the punishment of Hell.”
The man beseeched Allah with these words and Allah cured him.
And Allah knows best. "
You may have to pay kaffarah as well for breaking your oath so do look into it.

I think you have to fast for 3 days that is the repentance for breaking an oath but i am not 100%sure
Maybe somebody else can confirm
Dear Sister,
One thing about human that Allah SWT like is Towba, Allah always keeps His merci door open for all his creatures thus one good thing you have been doing is Towba. This is because Allah SWT well knows that humans are too weak and are incompelete and logically it makes sense to keep door of merci continuously open thus anytime anyone could refer for merci should not be kept awaited or boardered (see sister how much our creator Allah loves us and so why after performing all those "not good for us" he still accept us)
As the Allah SWT is very uncomparably knowledgable to everything and so why he has forbidden us of certian actions which are not healty for Human or us you can call it "Ristricted Allah Areas" or "Haram" because he already knows the consequence and of course be cause he loves us thus has warrening us of doing it, therefore dear sister human will feel shame of repeating their repenet and Towba but Allah SWT will never be tired forgiving you.
And now we should think is it worth to cross Allah restricted area and voilate His order just because of momental pleasures, Is it worth to disobey him when he loves us that much. Just think twice before being pursuaded by Surtan for repeating the action which is extending your distance and Allah SWT. I believe the answer is negative and for should not make Surtan happy by walking away from Allah SWT path.
Let us decide that we will never do something that makes surtan happy but let us devote our self toward Allah SWT happines because His happiness is best/good for us
I hope you will see your self stronger then Surtan this time and will never accept his message as did our father with him and kicked him out of Allah floor and believe me we are the daughter and son of that Father and we are as strong as him
Wasalam

O Allah, I seek forgiveness for every sin, I committed, about which, of course, You know inside and out, from the beginning to the end of my life, whether committed deliberately or intentionally, few or many, abstruse or manifest, old or new, secretly carried out or openly done; and for whatever wrong I have done I turn repentant unto You and beseech You to bless Muhammad and the children of Muhammad and forgive all my unjust acts I did to wrong the people (because they have rights which I have to recognize and fulfill) but You have full authority to forgive those wrongdoings whenever and howsoever You wish, O the most merciful
O Lord, I have wronged myself. So forgive me. Verily save You there is no one who can protect from the consequences of sinning
O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness for those wrongdoings for which I had turned repentant unto you but have done again. I seek your forgiveness for those deeds which I planned to do for your sake only but afterwards other interests not connected with You crept in, and I seek Your forgiveness for my taking advantage of the bounties, You gave me, in order to disobey You. I seek forgiveness of Allah (who is) “There is no god save He, the self-subsisting, the knower of the unknown and known, the beneficent, the merciful.” For all those sins which I have committed and for all those transgressions I perpetrated. O Allah grant me perfect ability to use, follow and apply reason, astute and keen determination, preponderant genius, pure heart, all-embracing wisdom and beautiful elegent manners. Let all these favours work for my good; let them not harm me, through your mercy, O the most merciful.
