Assalaamu Alaykum,
You will need to check with the local courts. Only they can tell you what the requirements are for a registered marriage and what you will need to do.

How do I know if you received my question
Assalaamualaikam
If you're submitting a post for publication, write it as a draft (so that you can amend things and make sure you're saying what you want to say) and then submit it as Pending. Once a post is Pending, it's in the queue for final editing and publication in turn, inshaAllah. At the moment the waiting time is about 2-3 weeks from when you submit a post as Pending.

Dear Rashid Anwar.
In the Philippines, marriage between a Muslim man and a Christian woman is allowed pursuant to Presidential Decree 1083 as long as you have meet the essential requisites of marriage.
Assalamu alaikum brother,
Did I miss anything in the question???
Brother are you thinking about converting her to Islam ? Because it is clearly mentioned in the Qur'an that its better to marry a Muslim maid than a non muslim.
And do not marry the idolatresses until they believe, and certainly a believing maid is better than an idolatress woman, even though she should please you; and do not give (believing women) in marriage to idolaters until they believe, and certainly a believing servant is better than an idolater, even though he should please you; these invite to the fire, and Allah invites to the garden and to forgiveness by His will, and makes clear His communications to men, that they may be mindful. S. 2:221 Shakir
Regarding your question for registered marriage.
If u do register marriage. It would mean that you consider the law of the country over the law of Allah(s.w.t). Allah's (s.w.t) law is superior to any other law. In my view you should go for Islamic nikah and that too with a Muslimah.
May Allah (s.w.t) guide is all.
Abul Malik,
Christians are not idolators, but People of the Book. There is a hadith, where Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, ordered a Muslim man who had married a Christian (which is of course permissible for women of the monotheist religions Judaism and Christianity) to accompany her to church every Sunday, and wait for her outside. This was of course due to the dangerous times especially for women at the time, so in a safe country this may not be necessary. It shows the respect for the Christian wife, which our Prophet, pbuh, demanded of his companions.
They are both. They are certainly idolaters, but Islam classifies them as People of the Book and awards them special status because they follow a Prophet, even if they have corrupted their book and faith.
