I do not perform Salah as it should be performed; Will Allah be Angry with me?

hey
i pray sometimes i miss fajr sometimes i struggle in remembering the words i can recite some verses i know
i know some parts of the salah but i forget some parts like when we are completing the pray so will Allah be angry with me if i dont perform the prayer well enough or my prayers are a waste or i my prayer has know meaning and my connection with Allah is not good enough
please advice me

i personally don't know the correct answer to that question, but i understand your problem as arabic isn't my first language, i have no idea what im saying( i do have translations) but i have to look at them or i forget, i find it extremly difficult to remember duas, i have tried everything from writing it down, trying to learn it off by heart, i cry because i know this is the only thing standing in my way to be close to Allah, i went to a imam i asked what can i do about not being able to recite the verses properly, he said to me as long as my intention is correct i can say as much as i remember, Allah will accept it. I don't know if that is true, but i was told that otherwise i cant actully pray at all, if brothers and sisters know otherwise please let me know also on this matter, but i believe Allah wont be mad at you if your heart is sincere we just have to try and overcome this.

Brother Aziz and sister 94, the problem you have is quite common with many people. There are people in their old age (say 50s) who are unable to read duas, or read the Quran. But this should not stop them from learning.
Whenever a person accepts Islam, he or she should repeat Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, Lailaha Illallah, Allahuakbar, La Hawla wa La Quwwata illa Billah in the entire prayer, until one learns Surah al Fatihah, after which, reciting Fatihah becomes a condition for the completion of the Rakaa'aat.
It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Abi Awfa said: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: “O Messenger of Allah, teach me something of the Qur’aan that will suffice me, for I cannot read.” He said, “Say: Subhaan-Allaah wa’l-hamdu Lillaah wa laa ilaaha ill-Allaah wa Allaahu akbar wa laa hawla wa la quwwata illa Billaah (Glory be to Allaah, praise be to Allaah, there is no god except Allaah and Allaah is Most great, there is no god except Allaah and there is no power and no strength except with Allaah).” The man made a grabbing gesture with his hand (indicating that he had learned a lot) and said, “This is for my Lord, what is there for me?” He said, “Say: Allaahumma ighfir li warhamni wahdini warzuqni wa ‘aafini (O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, and grant me provision and good health).” He made another grabbing gesture with his other hand and stood up. Until you learn the Aayat of the Quran and the duas, this should be enough. You must be knowing Surah al Faatihah and some small Surahs. You can read them. You can read the duas of qaumah (saying Rabbana wa Lakal Hamd), rukoo' (saying Subhana Rabbi al Azeem) and sujood (saying Subhana Rabbi al A'la), I suppose, which are short and easy. Concerning the Tashahhud and other duas, you can gradually learn them word by word.

You can learn the duas to be read in each position in the prayer, from this small book. Until you learn all the duas, read what I mentioned above. Allah knows your intention, and the deeds depend on the Niyyah, as the Hadith says. So make sure you work hard to learn the duas word by word. And yes, intitially, choose the easier duas instead of difficult ones, in order to read them in the Salah.
And brother Aziz, make sure you do not miss any prayer wantedly. If you forget or over-sleep, you can perform it, the moment you remember or wake up. Because Allah's Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said:

The main thing is that your intention is right and you try to learn more about how to pray bit by bit and remember that allah will accept your salah no doubt on that. Also if u are struggling memorizing surah try to memorize simple,easy and get lot ajr(good deed) Like read surah fatiha as always in the beginning of salah and then read surah Al-ahat(number of surah 112) If u read it x3 is as if u read the whole Quran and if u read x10 u will get house in paradise
1 more thing to sister94 did you know that you can make dual in your own language but u must recite the Quran in Arabic language while praying also remember that there is many other ways to get close to allah

SAsalam wailaikum during witr numaz i sturggle to remember the long dua you read, does this invalidate the whole of isha prayer? Im fine reading the other four prayers its just this prayer, iv tryed to memorize it but i still struggle, should i miss this prayer out untill i know it properly?

What has Witr got to do with Isha? It is a different Salah altogether and is a Sunnah - not wajib or fard. It is a part of Qiyam al Layl and not a part of Isha.
Qunoot is optional in witr. You may skip the long qunoot until you learn it. I know the dua, I still skip it many times.

I must have got it wrong i thought you pray isha numaz as follows
4 raka sunnat
4 raka fard
2 rakat sunnat
2 rakat nafil
3 rakat witir
2 rakat nafil
Please advise
Everything other than the 4 fard is optional. There is only 2 rakaa'aat of Sunnah Muakkadah after the 4 fard. Other than that are nawaafil. You can pray even 10 rakaa'aat of nawafil but without making it a compulsion, which could translate into a bid'ah. There is no requirement of looking at anyone else, when we have the example of Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam in front of us.

Yes, Isha prayer is different from witr prayer. Regarding dua qunoot, the ruling is different for Shafi'i madhab, i.e, it is not recited in witr prayer except during the last ten days of ramadan and during fajr prayer.
