Is it haram to keep in contact with an ex in an Islamic marriage?

Ex-husband, ex-wife, the ex

I'm in a marriage with a good women but I have a problem with her keeping in contact with exes I was wondering if it was haram and should I not feel some way about an ex that she has no ties to?

When a married couple divorce, they are no longer mahram for each other. There are some reasons why people may need to maintain some contact following divorce (e.g. if they have children, to finalise divorce arrangements) but this should be limited to what contact is necessary to fulfil this obligation. If your wife has no ongoing ties to this man then she should stop contacting him as he is now non-mahram.

  2. I'm in the same situation brother..Just last night I found out my husband was messaging 2 women on Facebook..one was his ex..nothing bad but just messaging trying to keep in touch with females..

In my opinion it's haram..like what is she getting from talking to her ex?? Why is she trying to stay in touch with a man from an opposite gender especially a person she had some level of emotional attachment too...?? Does she have children with this man?? This falls under the category of emotional cheating..I can't stand people like this..I hate this for you..because I know exactly how it feels..how does she act when you confront her? May Allah help us both
