Is it not meant to be for us?

Move ahead with what Allah has Destined for you

Move ahead with what Allah has Destined for you

If we lose a person by our own mistakes however after that we do realise our mistake and ask Allah for forgiveness or to give that person back to us but we don't get them does it mean it was meant to be this way and he/she was not meant to be for us?

  1. Salam Alekum dear

What you lose ,you get back in Heaven dear, I don't know what you mean by losing a person for your mistake.

    Surah Al-Imran nr:185

"Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion"
    -Sahih International.

    you have to say :
Inna lilah wa inna illayhi rajioon

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un is a part of a verse from the Qur'an which translates to "Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return". The phrase is recited by Muslims when a person experiences a tragedy in life, especially upon hearing news that a Muslim has died. The phrase is also recited in situation that involve risk of any sort.

  2. Assalaamu Alaykum,

Yes, that is the way I would understand it. Our own mistakes are part of Allah's plan for our lives just as much as what we do successfully. We ultimately don't control anything, so even the idea that "if I had done it differently, there would be a different outcome" doesn't have a solid place when it comes to qadr.

I advise you to take the lessons learned from your mistakes and go forward with the past in the past. We all have to live with regrets somewhere. The future is just as open and positive as it ever was, so going into it fully open and armed with the wisdom you've gained is the best approach.

  3. I agree with the above past is the past you cannot change it instead change the present.
Do not continue to make mistakes learn from your own mistakes and become a better muslim without hurting others. We all have to learn things the hard way even if Allah has made difficult paths for us. It happens for a reason remember Allah and never forget Allah.

  4. Dear Brother

There are two ways in which we loose a person. First is physical death, like if unfortunately your dearest dies. That dearest is sure to meet up in heaven.

Second is relation-ship death like divorce or romance breakups. Such a relation-ship may or may not be resurrected in heaven as Allah knows best.

In both cases move on, pray for the departed or lost one and build new relationships with others like marriage etc.
