Is Misyaar Nikaah legally acceptable in India?

    virgo2010, you should consult with a family lawyer in India.

    I personally am against misyar marriage in any situation. It robs the woman of the rights given to her by Allah, and it is almost always harmful to the woman in the long term.

    Marry women properly and given them their rights in Islam.
