Is it haram to slow dance in front of people at my wedding?
Dancing and music is haram, but we all do it.
Because it is haram, is this the only reason why slow dancing at my wedding day is forbidden? Even if its only in front of other women?
The only man present would be the groom.
Can someone provide me with a verse from the Quran about this or even a hadeeth close to this?

QUOTE[Dancing and music is haram, but we all do it.]UNQUOTE.
Unfortunately I do not have the time right now to quote hadeeth and Quranic verses to support my claim, but music and dancing (in front of anyone except your spouse) are forbidden in Islam. Even if all the jinns and humans do something that the Messenger of Allah had forbidden, the forbidden act would still remain forbidden.
I understand your feeling. Sometimes some traditions of West seems romantic in our eyes. One such example is dancing. Shaytan takes this opportunity, whispers in our heart and make dancing more appealing to us. There are two problems associating with this:
01. You are following a tradition of the West. Our prophet has strictly warned us about following the tradition of other nation.
02. Even if all the spectators are female, your groom would still be a non-mahram for the female spectators and vice-versa. Your groom in not allowed to look at the non-mahram spectators, and the non-mahram female spectators are also not allowed to look at your groom.
Once the Messenger of Allah was sitting with one of his wives (ummul mumineen) when Abdullah Ibn Umme Maktoum came to see him. Abdullah Ibn Umme Maktoum was a blind companion. The Messenger of Allah ordered the ummul mumineen to go to other room. The ummul mumineen said, "Oh the Messenger of Allah! The guest is blind." The Messenger replied, "Are you blind too? You can see him".
This small incident illustrates how important it is to maintain the sexual segregation between non-mahram males and females.
Even to me the dance thing seem romantic. However, the romanticism should be confined between you and your spouse. I do not see the necessity to expose your romanticism to others, like it is exposed in movies. If you really want to dance, find a romantic place that is secluded from the glance of any other non-mahram people (the roof of your own house may be?), go there in a moon-lit night, dress resplendently, and dance with your spouse. You do not need to do it in front of others! 😉
