  2. May Allah bless you for the efforts.

As an IndMuslim myself, I would strongly recommend our brethren, who are involved in dawah activities, that Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) is the best organization, who provides excellent facilities catering to the specific needs of reverts with a complete focus on their future-all round upbringing.

Since the revert would be a sister, JIH has an exceptional and dedicated women/sisters wing (including Girls Islamic Organization/GIO, for students) with strong networks, who would take care of them. Moreover, you should rest assured there wont be any language problem since they are multilingual with the best organized support in the country. Check out if there are any of their local branches near your locality.

    Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (Maharashtra Zone)
    4-B, Hamid Building, 96, Hafiz Ali Bahadur Marg, MUMBAI – 400 011
    Phone: 23082820, 23050314, Fax: (022) 23052002

If you truly believe in your heart that there is no God but Allah and The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His Messenger, then say your Shahadah without delay - that signifies your acceptance of and faith in Islam, and is all you need to take your first steps as a Muslim.

Then, find your local mosque or community centre, and ask them about local resources for new Muslims - most larger communities will have a class or study group for people who are either new to Islam or coming back to their faith after not practising for some time. These groups are usually separated so that men and women sit separately or attend separate classes, so that Islamic boundaries can be established and maintained.

If you haven't already, as well as learning about the Quran, start reading about the life of The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the hadiths.

    • Allahu Akbar! Welcome to Islam Dear Brother Siddhu. We are happy to welcome you as our brother (Islam is your home, but you lost your way in the past, and now you are back home, Alhamdulillah - we thank Allah for that).

Brother, you may also want to learn how to say the Shahadah through the link below.

May Allah strengthen your iman (faith) in Him, and make the way ease for you. Ameen!

      • ok thanks what do I do ?

        • Please watch the video and then say the Shahadah. There is a guide on how to say it, so please watch it.

        • Alhmadulillah! You are now a Muslim! Congratulation, mashaAllah!

Now please follow the rest of the advice given by Sister Midnightmoon above.

Given the request for money and contact information, the remainder of his posts have been removed from public.

JazakAllah khair for your kindness towards a potential new revert.

      • Brother Siddhu,

I'd urge you to search for any mosque near where you live, and then talk to the imam about your Islam. Perhaps he will help you find some local places for Islamic lessons, or at least he will assist you himself in learning the important things you need to know, inshaAllah.

In the meantime, you may want to visit the below link, as it contains many useful lessons for new Muslims.

      • You do not need to change your name if its meaning does not contain a belief that go against the teachings of Islam. So you need to know the meaning of your name before we can tell whether you need to change it or not.

      • I understand you Brother. However, I think you need to work and earn money for yourself, and for your future wife (and children), when you marry someday, inshaAllah.

      • Ok my dear Brother. The truth is that, Muslims worship the One God that created the universe. He is The One Who created you and your family, the trees, the animals, the sun, the moon etc. That God is Allah, and He is outside the universe, so we can't see him. However, He sent Prophets and messengers to teach us about Him and how to worship Him.

  4. salam sidhu, we can raise more money than what you ask for and send it to you. the issue is this site do not allow the shearing of contacts. so go to the central mosque in you area in india and lay your complain. inshaAllah they will help you.

regarding your question, Allah do not have image. Allah is so grate and HE is incomparable to anyone or anything in this world.

but the existance of Allah can never be denied by any sane and reasonable person. seeing what Allah created in this world alone would surely make you realise the existance off Allah, it would also make you realise how great ALLAH is.

now lets begin, the very earth you are walking on is created by Allah. look at how complex the structures of human being is, Allah is the one that originate the creation of human from clay and then the offsprings of man from semens of male and female sexual dischage.

Allah created the sun, the moon, the planets, the stars, the sea and oceans, and all the living creatures in the sea, land and everything you can think of.

so my brother, Allah has manifested Himself clearly. His very existence cannot be denied. but NO ONE can see ALLAH in this world. no vision can grasp HIM but HE grasp all vision..

all you need to do as a muslim is to worship ALLAH in the unseen. that is what ALLAH ordained for us. when you go to the mosque to offer sallat, all you need to do is to face the qibla aolng with other muslim congregation and worship Allah . it is just as easy as that.

qibla means direction that muslims are facing when they pray to ALLAH.

may ALLAH help you brother, and may HE make you steadfast in his path (islam), and may HE grant you paradise after your death.

    • hmmm grt but as a fres convert its difficult to concentrate on allah, so I will hv to use sum image or idol thinking its allah .

im thinking of using a ganesh idol to concentrate on allah

      • AsSalaamu Alaikum Brother Siddhu,

Using a ganesh idol (or anything else) is considered as committing a shrik (associating partnership with Allah), which is the most hateful sin in the sight of Allah. So please learn to worship Allah in the way that He approves ok.

The ONLY way it can become easy for you to concentrate on Allah is to learn about Allah. The more you learn about Him, the more you feel conscious about Him. When you feel conscious of Allah, that will make it easy for you to concentrate on Him, and will also bring peace and tranquility to your heart, plus it will lead your heart to feel the love and greatness of Allah at all times, especially during your worship to Him. When you come to know Allah through you worship to Him, you will realize (in your heart) that He is indeed everything you need in this life and the hereafter.

Did you check the link that I gave you previously?http://www.newmuslims.com/level/1

  5. no siddhu, you cannot use idol of anyone or image of anything to concentrate on worshiping ALLAH. you are belittling ALLAH that way. it is not allowed in islam... just imaging the grateness of Allah in your heart and stand in rows for salat among other muslims, knowing fully well that it is your creator you are worshipping. perform the sallat prayers with all solemnity and full submissiveness. you will see the concentration you talking about coming..

but siddhu, do not make the mistake of reducing Allah to an idol caved of clay or wood. do not make image of ALLAH, it is totally unacceptable in islam..

may ALLAH help you on your jorney in islam.
