Istikhaarah Dream interpretation

istikhara colour

Asalaam Alaikum,

I am a 26 year old Muslim girl and I wanted your advice about the Istikhaarah that I performed and the interpretation of it.

I performed Istikhaarah namaz for the purpose of marriage. On the day that I performed Istikhaarah namaz I dreamt  of a dark and lonely street and a car. In the car my dad was the driver and my mum, my sister, my brother and me were all passengers. While driving on this dark street a saw a beam of light and a girl wearing white sari running and suddenly got hit by our car. She was hit so bad that she rolled on top of the car and landed at the back of the car. When I turned around I saw the girl's face (no one I know in person), blood draining from her head and she just smiled back at me.

I would really appreciate if someone can help me interpret this dream of mine.

Thank you.

  1. Walekum assalam dear ukht .Dont marry that guy. Or better to inquired about that guy and his personal life and abt his family.

    Inshallah allahumma Khair.
    Wassalam warahmatullah.

Also look in it up because istikhara doesn‘t mean that it comes only in a dream what you should do.

  3. There is no universal meaning to any of these dream symbols. How can there be? Who would assign such a meaning? Allah? Some universal consciousness? (which does not exist). No, these symbols mean nothing except what they mean to YOU personally, consciously or subconsciously.

Furthermore, Istikhara has NOTHING to do with dream interpretation. Please read the articles on our website to understand Salat al-Istikhara properly. It is a prayer you make to Allah to bring the thing to you if it is good, and keep it away from you if it is bad. That's all. After that you make the best decision you can, and trust that Allah will bring good into your life as a result of your dua'.
