If we keep trying istikhara to get a different answer, is that disrespectful?
aslamalaikum...
i was wondering if someone can help me because im a bit confused... well there's a really good friend of mine we like each other and want to get married, so he spoke to his sister to do istikhara about me which came out positive which wasn't about marriage it was just about me in general.
after a positive answer later on he spoke to his mother about me and she also did an istikhara but this time it was about marriage which came out as negative...
the thing is we don't want to do anything bad and weve tried a lot in the past to avoid each other so that we do not hurt our families but they are happy to accept us.
I just wanted to ask as u said istikhara can change.. do u think both sides should do it? and can a person get different answer? if we keep trying for istakhara will that be disrespectful?
please it will mean alot if someone can help me in answering my questions

"Istikhara" means to seek goodness from Allah. The one who does the istikhara is as if they request Allah Almighty that, O the Knower of Unseen (Exalted is He) guide me if this task is better for me or not?
Having a dream is not important because Allah(swt) can guide u also in other ways.
It's better to do it self and let ur friend to do istikhara as wel.
and u can do it up to 7 times if u stil dont see any dream follow your heart. Whatever intention grows stronger in your heart regarding your targated work follow it after seven days of Istakhara.

I did istikhara ...but saw a negatv dream that my mother is saying me to stop dreaming a person whom i love..i dnt knw wat to do...

hope you are all well inshaAllah. just do istikhara and your feelings will guide you. if you feel uneasy, then wait a while and do it again, and inshaAllah it will confirm either the positive or the negative. if it says to leave him and it will be negative, then inshaAllah Allah subhanAllah tallah will make it easy for you to leave him and move on. (My other half to be is going to be doing it for us so i am praying it is positive, but if its not im sure Allah will help us both move on). But keep the faith, keep positive and do what you think is best at the end of the day. Only both of yours matter 100% as you will both be involved.

i love him aloot and he do istakhara by stars and its results are negative if someone knws that istakhara by stars is true or not plz tell me bcz i dnt let him forget i want to marry him what should i do? will someone plz tell me method of istakhara please

I got a proposal from this man for marriage. He is a nice, decent person and I was considering this proposal. We both decided to do istikharah for our marriage before going ahead. I did the istikharah regarding our marriage and got a positive dream. Whereas, when he did an istikharah for our marriage, he got a negative dream. We are now very confused and don't know what to do. Can anyone please help me regarding this? Thank you.
Salat al-Istikhara is not necessarily based on dreams or dream interpretation. That is a common misconception. Pleae read all our articles to understand it better.

What if you don't perform istikhara and you get married what will happen cus many people dont perform it but they are happily married.....Some people also said that saytan can make you your dreams be negative or positive ,,,is that also true
Najat, Istikhara is not based on dreams or colors in dreams. It is simply a prayer to Allah for guidance. One should pray Istikhara, then trust in Allah and make the best decision she can.
