Islamic marriage advice and family advice

Love of Allah

Allah says in Surah ar-Rahman: "Then when the heaven is rent asunder, and it becomes rosy or red like red-oil, or red hide. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?" The picture is taken by the NASA Hubble Space Telescope of the "Cat's Eye Nebula." It is an exploding star 3,000 lightyears away. We see it now in the years 1999/2000! And the Qur'an mentioned it more than 1400 years ago

Assalam-U-Alaikum,
Brothers and sisters,
I have a few questions and I need your suggestions.
1)What is the best way to attain the love of Allah?
2)Does Islam recognise engagements. Is engagement a bidah?
3)Did prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) practised Rafah-e-daan (Raising of hands to shoulders in namaz after rakooh)?
4)Is rafah-e-daan a sunnah?
5)How can we remove the desire and love of this world from our heart?
6)Are wazifas for marrying a particular person allowed in Islam? Some people say don't doubt the power of Quran.
7)I frequently miss my fajr prayers. Any tips?
8)In the book Fadhial-e-Amal It is written that "He who recites Ayat-ul-kursi after Wazoo(ablution) will have his rank increased by 70". Is this correct? From another book i read that this is incorrect.
9)What is the best way to thank Allah(S.W.T) and the best way to praise too?
10)Those who loved each other in this world but couldn't get together. Would they reunite in jannah if both of them are jannati?

Ali

  1. answer of question no 1: the best way to attain Allah's love is to fulfill the primary duties salah, Charity, fast, to refrain yourself from gambling, sex, drugs, alcohol, physical relation between the same gender and the opposite gender, arrogance, pride, not giving charity, greed and lust for money, women, shamelessness, Idol worshiping , object worshiping (sun, moon, fire etc) , animal worshipping (snake, cow etc), worshipping the humans (data sahab, bibi pak daman etc) worshipping the jinns, occupying other persons' property, murder, rape, riot, war, blood, fight, quarrel, zina, divorce, deception, usury, disappointment, corruption.
to behave good with others, if you do good to others you will get good. never become the reason of a fight between two people or more. good behavior with orphans, helping the poor, the orphans, giving charity to beggars, maskeens and other people, helping people in the form of finance, moral support etc. Allah likes modesty.

Q 2 i dont know about engagement , engagement is like a confirm decision for nikkah that the two people will marry each other in the future.
    Q3, Q4 i dont know about it.
Q 5 you have to balance deen and dunya, you can never be religious and cut yourself from the world for good it was the custom of christians and still exist.

if you want to remove the desire stop looking for the materialistic items, cell phones, clothes, accessories for men, cars etc go to the market when its necessary, item songs, movies that motivate you to hang out with friends, and have fun, unlike all the pages which motivate you to spend money on these things from Facebook, uninstall whatsapp, skype these things waste your time . sometimes we skip namaz , offer it later because of these things so its not good

Q6 you can pray to Allah, there are no specific wazifas for marriage etc this is all nonsense, please put your trust in Allah and pray to Allah you can read any surah or any prayer which prophet used to make.

Q7. there is no tip its all about will power. you can put alarma son two phones if one doesn't ring the other will ring

Q8 ayat ul kursi is good whatever you read from Quran it will be counted in the good. the only practice to have higher rank is following deen and to refrain from bad things . there is no shortcut.
Q9 thank Allah for everything daily , make it your habit. for health, for giving us rizq etc
Q 10 if both are jannati and want each other in the jannah they will be together, each and every desire of a jannati will be fulfilled that is the promise given to us in Quran.

  2. Assalamualaikum brother/sister,

    I will only answer some:

    FAJR Tip:
I did two things that i think alhamdulillah worked for me.
    1) DUA :This dua is in Surah ibrahim verse 40:
" Our Lord make me an establisher of prayer and from my offsprings. Our lord accept my dua."

    I kept repeating it.

    2) Downloaded this app. called "Never Miss Fajr". I have been using it for some years and it works really good. It's free too.
You can check it out here:

    REMOVING LOVE OF DUNYA
I am also struggling to do this. But i guess dua and remembering death often removes the love of this world from the heart. Also reading Qur'an with understanding. The more you will read about the death and afterlife, the love of this world would decrease.

    LOVE OF OUR LORD
This is something that is every believer's dream. I think focusing on pleasing Him, knowing him. Talking to him alot. Dua. Qur'an. Salaah.Obeying Him. Staying away from haraam and useless stuff. Sacrificing our desires for Him. Dhikr (Remembering Him often). PRIVATE worship. SECRET good deeds. Following His messenger (s.a.w).Honestly I am not sure.

I had read this dua this dua once, while reading hadiths. You can check it yourself.

"Oh Allah grant me your love. And the love of the one who loves you and the love of those actions that will bring me closer to your love.Oh ALLAH make your love dearer to me than myself, my family and cold water." -tirmidhi

    May ALLAH love us.

  3. Thank you everyone, I really appreciate your concern and efforts.
May Allah (S.W.T) fulfill all your supplications, duas and halal Desires.
