3 Million, 7 Thousand, and Zero! Major Milestones for IslamicAnswers.com

Alhamdulillah, Praise be to Allah

Alhamdulillah, Praise be to Allah

This website, IslamicAnswers.com, has achieved three major milestones (or Insha'Allah is about to) this month, Alhamdulillah.

First, all time traffic on the website stands today at 2,992,000. So we'll hit the three million mark in a couple of days, Insha'Allah. Three million people have visited this website, read our articles, submitted questions, left comments, and hopefully benefited in some way. That's equal to the entire population of Panama, where I used to live.

Second, we had our busiest day ever a few days ago, on April 23, 2012, with 7,522 visitors in one day. Ma-sha-Allah.

Third, we now have zero posts in the queue! That's right, there are no questions waiting to be answered. We are all caught up. We are still getting two to four questions per day, and we are publishing them and answering them the same day now. Absolutely incredible, when you consider that just last year we had 190 posts pending at one point. If you submitted a question at that time, the wait was 6 months to get it answered!

There's no question who gets the credit for this. First, Allah ('Azza wa jal) for giving us the gift of life, intellect and ability. Without His help, no good deed gets done.

Second, our amazing editorial staff: SisterZ, Leyla, Amy, Sara, Muhammad, Maria, and Abdul Wali. Their dedication, teamwork, and selfless hard work have been instrumental in this website's success and have been an inspiration to me personally. I consider them brothers, sisters and dear friends.

Last but not least, our readers. We have certain faithful readers who always leave intelligent and useful comments. You know who you are. We are very grateful for your presence. May Allah reward you.

  2. I always talked of someone who could provide advice for young youths in trouble without them revealing their identity or risking any backlash, this site provides that and once i became known of its existence i urge all those i know to spread the message and promote this site, alot of youths would be lost without any help and advice, this site gives them hope and belief and a chance to open up, not only youths but people of all ages and walks of life mash'Allah its been a revelation and certainly effective.

May Allah send blessings on the makers of this site, may he send blessings on all the editors and all other posters who take time out to help, may he reward those people for their good charity, and may this site continue succesfully for a long time.

    Ameen

    Allah-hu akbar !!

May Allah swt bless and guide always to the right path and make us adhere to the Qur'an and authentic hadeeth . You should have also mentioned those people who contribute asap as soon as they see question on the forum ,and sometimes they have answered much better than editors (i am in now say trying to derogate ) they answered many times much before the editors .I would like to felicitate and thanks all those people and editors contribute and make this site worth of a visit.

    Jazakumullahu khairan

    Assalam oalykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

    • If it was not for the editors the question would not even be on this website as no would be able to view it unless it was approved...frm my understanding....the editors have done an amazing job....May Allah reward them...

Alhamdulilah i have found a way to deal with my problems and to help those that have problems. Allah has granted me peace from the great advice offered here. Peace and blessings be upon everyone.

  11. Congratulations this is a wonderful site with caring and straight talking editors insha'Allah i pray you are all rewarded in this life and the next, JZK. This site has benefited me greatly and i have recommended it to at least a dozen or so people who i know have benefited to for the better, it has also opened my eyes to the stresses and hardship faced by our Bothers and Sisters in Islam i have Cried, Laughed, got Angry, you name it i along with others have felt every emotion. keep up the good work.

  12. dear team,

    well done. mashallah!

i find it very difficult to talk to my family members and have no elders as such who can give me their opinion. mymum is like my daughter i have to tell her what to do , even if its like simple things like visiting people or saying good words to others. my older sister gives me a rather diplomatic advise which you can interpret either way so that what ever is the result she doesnt get the blame. my brothers i think are in need of advise themselves only if they choose to listen. the rest of the people keep looking at my situation as a game ,to see whats my next move. this website ( all my brothers and sisters who have helped me soooooo much ) is like a family to me , so whenevr i feel lost or in need of advise , all my brothers and sisters have given their most sincere replies in sync with islam. so you can see what it means to me. only allah can reward all of you for this effort.

i came on this website as a friend but found family instead. love to all of you.

no waiting !!!!!!! wow!!!! well done!!!. very impressed.

    jazakallah khairun.

    yours sincerely

    friend.

  13. It is truly amazing to hear of how this website has touched and helped you all. Credit goes firstly to Allah and then after that equally to the rest of us: editors, writers, authors and readers - without everyone of us working together, there would have been no website.

It is only through the barakah/blessings of Allah(swt) that we are at 'zero' posts. Our team worked hard for over a year to decrease the work load, but it just kept increasing by the day. Miraculously despite the number of incoming posts and the website traffic being at all time highs, we somehow caught up with the pending work over the last few weeks, maasha'Allah. It was one of those 'ping moments' the night we got to zero and our team were rejoicing behind the scenes in our little cyber factory :O). Think of Santa Claus and his little elves...lol.

I have only worked on this website for around nearly two and a half years, but it has played an enourmously significant role in my life. I have found some of my dearest friends here and pray that this is and will be a source of blessing for us all in this life and the next insha'Allah, aameen!
