Can a woman lead dua in presence of her husband and other males of the family?
Please advise.
salman, there is no indication that she is leading the dua'. And if she were, I do not know of any prohibition against such. In some masjids women have given the Friday khutbah for men and women. A woman was the president of ISNA until recently (Ingrid Mattson). Woman ulemaa' have existed throughout the history of the Ummah, going back to Aishah bint Abi Bakr (RA).
