Praying for someone to became a Muslim
Salam
I would like to know the dua for praying to someone to become a muslim please. She is my relative and she is a Catholic. I tried talking to her myself but she cannot listen to me. Please assist.

You cannot force anybody to become a Muslim, the only thing you can do is to give her Dawah and advise her about Islam and its positives. You cannot change someone's belief forcefully, otherwise they will be reverting back to Islam for the wrong reasons. Also you should ask a female to talk to her as you are not her Mahram, so what you can do is take your relative to a mosque, or you can talk to a Muslimah and ask her to talk to her about Islam.

If you are asking for Duas from the Quran and Hadith, i dont know about that. But, i think the most important factor for a dua is sincerity and ikhlas. Pray to God with the bottom of your heart and ask him to guide that person towards the true religion. Pray in your own words.
Apart from that, there are several things you can do to make you dua more effective. Start by calling Allah by his beautiful 99 names. Read Quran before making it. Dua in Prostration, Fasting and during other acts of righteousness can be more effective.
Read what Quran says about Christians. More knowledge can help. I advice you to read Surah Al-e-imran, it teaches alot about inviting Christians to Islam. Try to Present your views in a plain, simple and friendly manner.
Lastly, Dont be too upset if they don't listen. Your job is to convey the message in the best possible way. Its God decision in the end. We only try.
