Promise made to father on Quran
A father gives his daughter a Quran and tells her not to do something by the name of Quran and Allah. The forbidden things is not to talk with her beloved one. The girl was afraid of her father and touched the Quran and made promises unwillingly.
Will breaking that promise cause any harm? Or is it legal in islamic shariah? What will this girl do?

Salamualaikum
If it is a non mahram male she is forbidden to talk to him with or without any oath. However if it is a mahram and Islam does not forbid it (e.g. brother, husband, son) then a promise made without intention in heart will not earn you sin infact it will earn sin to the someone forcing such a promise.
for reference please see Ayah 224 and 225 of Surah Baqarah
Allah swt knows best.
Assalaamualaikam
If the person she has promised not to contact is a non-mahram, then she shouldn't be in private communication with them, regardless of whether she has made a promise or not. If she and this person wish to be together, it's important to do this in a halal way, rather than having a haraam relationship outside of marriage.
