She had sex before marriage and told her husband after 8 years

"]

Abu Hurayra (Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him) said, All my Community will be excused except those who are blatant. And it is from blatancy for one to perform an act at night and to wake up and tell something that they did such-and-such, while Allah had concealed it for them. They slept under the cover of Allah, and they rended Allah's covering from themselves in the morning. [Bukhari and Muslim

  1. As salamu alayku, Frozi,

If she wanted to talk why didn´t she do it before marriage, to give him the opportunity to choose to be with her or not. Now this attitude is like she wants to hurt him deeply, specially the reasons she gives.

If I was him, I would ask her if she wants to be with me, if she loves me, and which are the reasons for this confession now and then I would decide if I want to stay with her or not, this cruelty must have behind a deep wound, it depends on both of them to see if they want to heal the wounds and give their marriage an opportunity, only Allah(swt) knows.

Please, if you know him tell him to forgive, if he wants to stay or not, this is other question, but he will need to forgive her to move on, advice him to look for refuge on Allah(swt) and Insha´Allah he get closer to Him(swt). And if you know her, she should acknowledge the damage she has done with her words and previous behaviour (zinaa), repent and ask for forgiveness. May Allah(swt) help and guide both in these steps of the Path. Ameen.

    All my Unconditional Respect,

  2. Salaam, What exactly happened to make her tell him about her past ??

  3. The sin must have been eating away at her, big mistake telling anybody all you did was harm yourself more, she should repent to Allah (swt)

  4. I wouldn't say it's a 'mistake' honesty and trust are paramount values of any marriage, but yes if you feel like it can endanger your marriage, although your character has changed and you have asked for tawbah, then you should definitely not tell

  5. she answered her body needed it.

Although I don't show any mercy or compassion towards fornicators but the striking thing in this question which prompted to comment here is that the woman's attitude . She is not feeling any remorse about her past action . Instead of repenting , being apologetic and embarrassed , she has enough guts to say that her body needed it .

  6. A "single" muslim woman who has a "husband"....? What.?

    -Salaam

  7. just another need of a female satisfied, men do it to but this lady waited 7 years really. it would of been better to say before marriage and then maybe he would accepted it.
