My Husband Parties Like a Single Man
I am a Pakistani British born Muslim women. I am married to a Turkish Muslim man; we have one child aged 21 months. I have a few dilemmas with my marriage at the moment.

I wanted to ask question regarding the solution to a problem that I am facing right now. I was going to get married to a guy. Both families met and agreed to our marriage. Everything went well from both sides Alhamdullilah. However after a while, the guy I was going to get married started to act strange. He witnessed his friend’s death and this changed him to a totally different person. He was facing a lot of problems and had family responsibilities as he was the eldest in the family. His father passed away before he was so, he had no father figure around him.
My husband drinks alcohol heavily
I need major help please do help me with the right information. My husband drinks beer every night and drinks heavily on weekends and he always wants to have sex and sometimes he gets his way just to avoid the problems.
Do I need a divorce from the man who left me?
Salam, my husband left a year ago and he refused to give me a divorce. We had nikah only and he says it doesnt matter it was only Nikah which does not count in this country (UK) as marriage. But im not sure if he is correct. Do I require a Talaq from him or could I just forget about him. We had only been married 2 months and I had to ask him to leave as he was drinking and would use foul language and would become abusive towards me and my children from previous marriage.
My husband is a good man, but has no interest in Deen
At the time I got married to him he said he doesn’t drink and he was smoking but he gave up. After I moved to Australia he started again. He doesn’t drink all the time but occasionally at office parties and entertaining their non Muslim cousins at home.
It’s written in out marriage certificate that he is giving Sri Lankan Rupees 50000 as mahar but he never gave. How important is that?

I just found out that my brother is gay and I can’t handle it
I have recently found out that my brother is practicing homosexuality and started to drink alcohol. This was very devastating for me. I could not believe what I found out. I can’t explain what I am going through, all sorts of emotions are there, anger, fear, break of trust, feeling worthless, the hard work of bringing him up and then him going down the drain, hopeless, you name it and I am feeling it.

Hi, I’m an Indian married to a Pakistani. I converted to a Muslim, we have been married 5 years but I never felt one day that mine and my husband’s relationship would feel this way – like its dead. I think he is just using me to get his permanent stay. I feel so sad sometimes, I cry most of the time. We have a daughter aged 3 years, I think he is planing to kidnap her from me soon as he gets his permanent visa.
My husband drinks, abuses me and doesn’t support the kids
I’m a mother of 3 and I been married for 4 years. Me and my husband are Muslims Alhamdulilah. For the past year he has been drinking and abusing me. He doesn’t provide food for the kids, my family have been supporting me for almost 2 years and they wont approve a divorce.
But I really sick and tired of being scared of him and him drinking around the kids.
