Marrying someone I don’t like
My parents have decided to marry me off to my first cousin in the UK. I really don’t like him. I’m feeling very scared and uneasy.
I don’t want to marry my cousin!
I know it’s permitted in Islam but I find it weird, I know if I’m to marry my cousin I won’t be happy.
What should my next step be?
My grandmother, aunt and many other members of my family see me as a very bad person and feel I’m trying to hurt my family and most are not even speaking to me anymore. I’m not sure what other decisions or steps that I can take.
