They won’t let us marry because we’re not cousins
I am a Christian girl, I’ve been dating a Muslim guy for almost 2 years, we are in love but there is one thing stopping us, his father wont except me because I’m not his cousin,we have been trying to make things work with his father
How can I make my father understand? and why do I have no say in my future?
I am a 30 year old Pakistani girl and have been with someone for two years we have met several times face to face and over the 2 years are feeling for each other are getting stronger. He lives in another country and I live in the UK. The problem is that I mentioned to my family a year ago that I wanted to get married to this man (he’s an Arab) but they can not come over the cultural differences and how the community would perceive them. I have asked my father many occasions to speak to him and he’s refused, he wants nothing to do with it.

I am a Muslim girl. I met a guy a 8months ago, he is very kind, gentleman, polite, and good Muslim, he always prays on time where ever he is.
He is from a very conservative and traditional family. He proposed me very fast, the second time we met. Then he talked to his parents and a month later he admitted that he has familial problems as they refuse to allow him to marry someone not from same nationality.
