I told a lie, and cannot come clean, will Allah forgive me

Will Allah forgive me my sin? I told a lie to someone due to some reason I cant explain reality. If i tell then I'll be punished by same person which I can't bear. Will Allah forgive me???????? plz Help me... I can't explain truth.

    It's very difficult to answer your post with the information you've given. I can tell you generally, all sins have the potential of being forgiven by Allah if someone truly repents and moves forward on the path to obedience. However, I am aware that there are certain times in which telling lies are not seen as sin, but as far as I know it has to be for the cause of bringing people together or resolving a dispute.

    If you are telling a lie merely to protect yourself or avoid a consequence you otherwise deserve, then it would be considered sin and you would have to make it right. (since I don't know more about your situation I can't really say what that might involve for you in particular). It may be that you have to be honest and take the "punishment". You say you can't bear it, but as far as I know any punishment in this life is easier, and preferable, to a potential one in the next.

  2. Allah is a forgiver ..but don't rely on that ....because it's not a game..that's what i see in my point of view as an Arabic Muslim...peace
