  1. As Salamualaikum brother Amir,

You have indeed committed a huge sin. You have wronged yourself by doing so. You have breached the limit / boundary set by Allah.

What now? Don't despair of Allah's Mercy. You are not dead yet, are you? You have some time you can use for seeking Allah's Forgiveness and His Mercy.

Indeed, He Has Mercy, much more than all your sins and the sins of each and every Creature on this Earth. "His Mercy overpowers His Anger, His Wrath". This is what is meant by what is written on Allah's Throne.

Turn to him day and night and have your sins forgiven, before you see the angel of death, or before you see the sun rise from the west. The doors of Tawbah are open for you until then.

Make use of the time you have, to have, to convince Allah to Forgive you. Cry to Him in the nights when no one sees you, and remember that Allah is on the last Heaven in the last third of the night, asking if anyone wants to make a dua or seek Forgiveness.

Be sincere in your Tawbah. Sincerity of Tawbah involves three. One, you should leave the sin immediately. Two, you should regret that you have committed such a huge sin and disobeyed Allah. Three, you should resolve never to return to this sin in your life.

Allah said in a Hadith Qudsi:

O son of Adam, so long as you call
upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of
Adam, were your sins to reach the
clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I
    would forgive you.

Now, insha Allah, I will mention some duas you can read while you seek Allah's Forgiveness.

    1. 'Allaahmma anta rabbee laa elaaha illaa ant. Anta khalaqtanee wa ana 'abduka wa ana 'alaa 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastata't. A'oothu bika min sharri ma sana't. Aboo'u laka bi ni'matika alayya wa aboo'u laka bi thambee. Faghfir lee. Fa innahoo laa yaghfiruth-thunooba illaa ant.'

[O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god besides You. You created me and I am Your servant, following your covenant and [my] promise to you as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil that I have done. Before You I acknowledge Your blessings bestowed upon me and I confess my sins to You. So forgive me, for surely no one can forgive sins except You.]

The Prophet [ Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ] then added, 'anyone who says this during the day, firmly believing in it, and dies before the evening; or says it in the evening, firmly believing in it, and dies before the following morning, will be among the people of paradise.' " [Sahih al-Bukhari, vol 8, pp212-3, no 318]

    2. Rabbana innanā amanna, faghfir lana, dhunoobana wa-qinna 'adhāāban- naar

(Our Lord! we have indeed believed: forgive us, then, our sins, and save us from the agony of the Fire) [surah Ali' Imran; 3:16]

    3. La illaha illa Anta Subhanak, inni kuntu min adh-dhalimeen

(There is no God but You; Glory be to You, Truly I have been one of the wrongdoers) [Surah al-Anbiyah, 21: 87]

    4. Allahumma-ghfir li dhanbi kullahu, diqqahu wa jillahu, wa awwalahu wa akhirahu, wa 'ala niyatahu wa sirrahu

(O Allah! Forgive me all my sins, great and small, the first and the last, those that are apparent and those that are hidden) [Muslim 1:350]

    5. Allahumma inni asaluka ya Allahu bi annakal Wahidul Ahadus-S amadul ladhi, lam ya-lid wa lam youlad, wa lam yakullahu kufuwan Ahad, an taghfirali dhunoobi innaka Antal Ghafūūrur Raheem

(O Allah! I ask You, O Allah, You are the One, the Only, Self Sufficient Master, who was not begotten and begets not and non is equal to Him. Forgive me my sins, surely you are Forgiving, Merciful.) [Abu Dawud, an Nasa'i, ibn Majah, at Tirmidhi]

    6. There's another beautiful Dua:

"Allahumma maghfiratuka awsa' min dhunubi wa rahmatuka arja indi min amali"

O Allah, Your forgiveness is more encompassing than my sins and I expect far more of Your Mercy than my own deeds.

I pray that Allah forgives you, me and all the Muslims all our sins and He Admits us to His Jannaat.
    Aameen

  3. Brother Waseem,
The doa Allahumma maghfiratuka awsa' min dhunubi wa rahmatuka arja indi min amali" is indeed a beautiful doa. Can you please share the authentic source of it. I looked it at the six sahi hadith books but couldn't find it.

    Za za kalaah.
