I need a dua to get a proposal. Where I dream of I mean every girl has a wish like what kind of a boy she wants to marry.
When is it appropriate to express interest and share feelings with a view to marriage?
I am currently following the legal process to divorce my Buddhist wife (I live in the USA), which I started last year. I was raised as a christian but converted to Islam at the beginning of the year. Part of the reason for my conversion was my feelings for a Muslim woman met through work.
His parents are taking a long time to ask for my rishta(hand in marriage).

Is it right to dis-obey parents in this case?
Now I tell him that he should still bring forth his proposal to his family but he fears he will be breaking family ties and will be disobeying his mother and Islam says we should not disobey our parents in any way.
