I love my cousin but she had a previous relationship

About 7 years ago my parents decided that they would marry me with my cousin and they also told her parents but it was just between them and us, i mean it was just verbally. I was happy because i loved her very much and i think she too loved me. But after some time something happened and i came to know that she had a relationship with another person. after that i was too depressed, then i leave all this and was concentrating on my studies but my mother insists me to marry her.

i also sometimes feel like that. Actually my heart tells me to marry her but my mind says no. As of now she doesn't have a relationship with that person, as that person is married now. Also that time it was not 100% clear to me that she had relationship with that boy but definitely she was having affair with him. please advice me in what should i do?

    asalamu alaikum,

    hi after reading i can somehow undersand, the question is can you accept her past? everyone makes mistake, and she is single since this is the most important. part. so if you cant accept for the things shes done then dont get married, if you have doubts in your mind then marriage will fail. hope things work out
