His parents heard some wrong info about me and rejected me
I am a widow for the past 4 and a half years and have 2 children. 8 months ago I met a good muslim guy in my area and we took a liking to each other. He’s a Hafiz so he’d tell me stories about the prophet and teach me things from the Quran. But his family heard some false rumors about me.
Christian mother vs. Islamic marriage
I recently got married but have yet to get a marriage license. My mother is a Christian and my husband and I are Muslim. My mom refuses to recognize our marriage.
I am currently living with my mom and when my husband comes to visit she will not let us share the same room because she does not recognize our marriage.
My parents rejected the boy I love because of his looks and financial status
I’m in love with this practising muslim boy but my parents would not accept him because they think he’s not good enough for me in terms of looks and his financial status. I’m truly in love with him and wish my parents would see that.
His parents have rejected my proposal because I do not pray
My parents are happy for me to marry the muslim I want to marry but his parent are now not happy.
Their reasons are: ‘I don’t pray’. What shall I do?
His family gave me hope and have now rejected my proposal.
I really need some advice on what to do. There is this guy that i want to marry and he wants to marry me also. We know each other’s families. We’re not having a relationship at all. He has told his family he wants to marry me and after learning that he wants to marry me I’ve told my family that I also want to marry him.
I am left with neither this proposal nor the old one, please help.
I had this proposal wherein my parents arranged a meeting with the guy n his parents, they came saw me n gave their reply after 15 days saying that they have liked me. So my parents asked to consider it. Initially I didnt like the proposal n said a clear no. But then my parents liked it very much n again they asked me to consider it as the guy n his parents were financially stable. So with great difficulty i convinced my mind thinking that may be this particular guy only is in my fate n destiny n had submitted my will to Allah and had decided that the very next day i am goin to say a ‘yes’ from my side to my parents n let them go ahead wid it.
