1,000 Questions and Answers!

One thousand

One thousand questions answered Alhamdulillah

We just answered our one thousandth question on this website. SubhanAllah.

I want to offer my thanks to my fellow editors SisterZ, Leyla, Abdul Wali and Noorah for your dedication and heartfelt contribution. May Allah make it a source of great blessings for you. We will be inviting a few new editors soon as well, Insha'Allah.

My thanks also to you, our readers for trusting us with your fears and struggles, and for offering advice to those in need.

And my thanks to Allah for making this venture possible for us. I have seen how this website has changed lives, and in some cases even saved lives. SubhanAllah.

This website is really a unique presence on the web. When we first started, a few hundred people visited this site every day. Now we consistently get more then 3,000 visitors every day. Clearly we are fulfilling a much-needed role, and it's a privilege that Allah has given us this duty, Alhamdulillah.

  5. Maasha Allah, a minute ago I was referring your website to a friend and like others I keep visiting everyday to see what is happening in this ummah, so many people thinking that they are fully practicing and yet they are selfish enough not to care for others problem., and here on this website , we do have the opportunity to read ohers problem, help if we can and at least make duahs.

Indeed your team will be fully rewarded for all your remarkable work, May Allah keep this going. I only have a tiny suggestion, that when replying to question, if people can give more links or contacts for deeper counselling for example Muslim marriage counsellors whom one can contact for more indepth support etc.

May Allah ease every muslim's difficulty and draw us all closer to Him (SWT) and make us strive to say on the Sunnah of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him)

  6. Just want to use this opportunity to encourage you and offer my prayers for you brother Wael and all those helping run this site.
Like many others, though I dont post too often, I constantly do visit and many a times we find ourself reading questions and answers that relate to our life and help comfort us immensely.

So Mashallah keep up with the good work. My dream is to become an editor too on this site 😀 ...to be more than just someone who visits it daily 😉
Too good to be true. lol

May Allah s.w.t reward you immensely for ur efforts, Ameen.

    was salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullah

  7. Asalaamualaykum Wael,

I thank Allah for bringing me to this website and also JazakhAllahkhair to you for giving me the opportunity to work here. I have been answering questions on here since April 2009 and since you invited me to become Editor in October 2009, this has become one of my most satisfying and regular activities. It is a passion for our beautiful deen and a desire to help others that has brought all us Editors to this site and created a strong connection, although we live in far corners of the world.

May Allah make us sincere in our quest to seek help and humble and sincere in our desire to help one another. May Allah alleviate the difficulties of those who desperately turn to us for knowledge and advice and may the answers in the Quran and Sunnah be the most appealing answers for us all.

In Hadith, the Prophet Muhammad says that: "When a man dies, all of his deeds are terminated except for three types: (1) an ongoing and perpetual charity he leaves behind, (2) a knowledge given by him from which others benefit, i.e. a knowledge that continues to be implemented after him and (3) a virtuous son or daughter he leaves behind, who prays for him and asks for forgiveness on his behalf."

I pray this website truly becomes a source of blessing for us all, Editors, Readers, Writers and those seeking help, in this life and the next, Aameen.

  9. V. LOL! xx

  10. Congrats!!!

  11. As Muslims we don't believe
    in such myths.

    Allah say in Quran :

"They ask you, [O Muhammad] pbuh, about the Hour: when is its arrival? Say, "Its knowledge is only with my Lord. None will reveal its time except Him. It lays heavily upon the heavens and the earth. It will not come upon you except unexpectedly." They ask you as if you are familiar with it. Say, "Its knowledge is only with Allah , but most of the people do not know."

    (Surat Al-'A`rāf [7:187] )

As muslims , we dont believe in such myths saying that the end of the world will be in 21 / 12 / 2012

This is really funny , it hurts me to find many muslims believeing in such things !

I want to ask them : don't you read the Quran ?
don't you read the sayings of the prophet Muhammad pbuh ?

As it is mentioned in the verse above , no one can know when is the end of the world except Allah (God) the almighty !

Secondly , Our beloved prophet spoke about minor and major signs of judgement day ! many signs did not happen yet like the appearence of al-mahdi , the coming back of Khilafa, the conquest of Al-Quds , the appearance of Dajjal , appearance of dabba , the coming back of Issa (Jesus) pbuh ,
The Prophet (pbuh) also told us that Allah the Merciful will take the souls of all the believers before the day of resurrection so only disbelievers will stay alive to see the terrible events that happen to earth before the judgement day .......etc

By the way , as muslims we don't believe in such funny myths and we feel pity for those who believe in it .

    🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
