Deleted Inactive Users from Our System
As-salamu alaykum everyone,
Over the years we've had tens of thousands of spam registrations on our website, where spammers or bots sign up in order to create fake posts advertising things like perfumes, pharmacy drugs or purses.
I've just done a huge purge, removing 27,000 user registrations from the system. I only deleted users who have never created a post. However, it's possible that many legitimate user registrations were deleted. Also, I have noticed that the number of pending posts has been cut way down. So it seems some of those were deleted somehow.
If your pending post or draft was deleted, please log in - or re-register if necessary - and create a new one. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Alhamdulillah, it's been possible to retrieve some (but not all) of the lost posts. If you are waiting for your post to be published and it is among the ones retrieved, please be patient as it will take some time for us to get them ready and in order for publication. If your post has not been retrieved, please re-submit your question. In the meantime, you are very welcome to look through our archives - we've over 5,000 posts published, so you may find someone's previous post has some advice relevant to your own situation.
JazakAllah khair Brother Wael for your hard work and efforts to keep this site spam-free and available to us all.

Is there a tumblr version of this webpage
No, there is not.
Salaams, ma sha Allah this site is amazing. Thank you to the admins for working really hard to keep this site up and running. This site has given alot of hope and help to a lot of people. May Allah reward each and everyone that gives advice from the heart and/ or from experience. We are one big family and we should be there for one another in the times of need- and this is one of the platforms for it.
Lots of love to all
Thank you for your kind comments. I appreciate your words.

asalamu aleikum
i hope iam not deleted lol
Salaams-
Approximately how long would it take to publish a post from a user? So how long would I have to wait?
Thank you very much.
Between 4 and 8 weeks.

Will it keep extending to another 4-8 weeks every time I edit/modify it?
Or will it be more or less?
No, we go by the date it was first created.

While your post may move around in the Pending section when you access or edit it, the date of submission will remain the same. We aim to publish posts in the order in which they're submitted, so making additional changes to your question won't change its publication date, inshaAllah.
Just make sure that your post is submitted as Pending, as posts in the Drafts section don't enter the queue until their status is changed to Pending. The guide at the top of the page will inshaAllah explain this if you aren't sure what to do.

Wael - Thank you for informing me.
Midnightmoon - Yes, it's pending, jazaakillah.
AA-
Sorry for annoying you again, but does anyone(of the editors) know exactly when my question will be posted? Like exact date? Because I might be travelling next month and will probably not be available to check my posts comments, if that is when it will be posted. Also, my question is kind of urgent, so I would really like if it was posted as soon as possible.

This is gonna sound crazy, but I hope you can do this for me:
Wael, I have just posted a question a few minutes ago. I know its under "pending", but its a private question only for the editors because its extremely private. Could you by any chance respond to it privately? Or email me the response(my email is already entered since I registered on this site)?
Its extremely personal and I really would appreciate it if you answered me privately. It is also very urgent so if you can respond as soon as possible that would be great too.
Thank you,

I deleted your pending post, because it's the same as the other one you have published. Please follow the advice I have already given you. Go see a psychiatrist. You need professional help. You keep saying that you are in control, and therefore you don't need a doctor. But you certainly don't sound like someone who is in control. If you were in control, then you would stop, wouldn't you?
Follow the advice I have given you.

Yes brother wael is right as usual
The reason I don't stop is because it's a bad habit. I had gotten so used to saying this stuff that it became something I say all the time. I wouldn't lie to you, would I? (Except for the case where I made that username, but i was so desperate for different advice). So please believe me when I say, I said them on purpose. I searched Tourette's syndrome, it's definitely not what I have. Plus, did you read the WHOLE pending post of mine that got deleted? I said pretty bad stuff! I know it sounds suspicious that I would have stopped saying them by now if it was under control, but really, it's just a very bad habit. Did you read the whole pending post? They were really bad phrases... Plus I talked to someone about it (not telling them what I actually said, of course. I just told them I say "certain phrases" out loud without meaning too, and they told me it's not necessarily a medical condition) If you read my whole pending post, you'd know why I'm so scared now, I said really haram stuff. I just wanted to know if it can be forgiven, that's all???
~muslima01
If it's truly only a bad habit, then replace it with a good habit. Every time you say one of these bad things, replace it with SubhanAllah, and force yourself to say SubhanAllah 100 times. After a while, saying SubhanAllah will become a habit.
However in my opinion it's more than a habit and you need professional guidance. Allah knows best.

Jazaakallah for replying. I will try to practice the method you recommended.
One last thing, though. Like I had mentioned earlier, I had said the stuff on purpose. I'm not sure if you read the whole pending post, but it was really, REALLY bad stuff I said. Can this be forgiven? Can I repent? What is the best way to repent?
Yes, sister, you can be forgiven. ALL sins can be forgiven if one repents before death. Just say Astaghfirullah and have the intention not to do it again.

Really? So if a person does something really bad like illuminati or other forms of shirk and decides to come back to Islam, they can?
Yes of course. Now please do not post any further comments on this post.
