Dream Interpretation
Dream and Reality
Okay so I want to the know the meaning behind a dream I saw earlier and I am really interested in its meaning. I saw a big black bird on my head that I'm trying to get off. Please let me know if its a bad sign for something or a good sign.

Assalamualaikum islam786,
Whenever you see a bad dream; do not narrate it to anyone whosoever. If you see a good dream, narrate it only to the ones you trust most. The proof for this is the saying of Abu Salamah Radiyallahu Anhu:
``I used to see dreams that made me tremble, but I did not cover myself with a blanket, until I met Abû Qatâdah and told him about that. He said: ‘I heard the Messenger of Allâh ﺻﻠﻰ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ say: ``Good dreams come from Allâh and bad dreams come from the Sh aitân . If one of you sees a dream that he dislikes, let him spit lightly to his left three times, and seek refuge with Allâh from its evil, then it will never harm him.'' (Muslim)
And the saying of Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam:
``Good dreams come from Allâh and bad dreams come from the Sh aitân . Whoever sees a dream that he dislikes, let him spit lightly to his left and seek refuge with Allâh from the Sh aitân , and it will not harm him; and he should not tell anyone about it. If he sees a good dream, let him rejoice but he should not tell anyone except one whom he loves.'' (Muslim)
Also remember the following hadith of Abu Qatadah Radiyallahu Anhu, who said:
``I heard the Messenger of Allâh ﺻﻠﻰ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ say: `Good dreams come from Allâh and bad dreams come from the Sh aitân . If one of you sees something that he dislikes, let him spit lightly to his left three times, and seek refuge with Allâh from its evil, then it will never harm him.''' He said: ``I used to see dreams that weighed more heavily on me than a mountain, but since I heard this Hadî th , I do not care about them.'' (Muslim)

asalamu alaikum,
hope you are doing well and in best of imaan. dreams are very delicate. in the story of yusuf (as) when he was sent to jail. their was 2 who were with him in jail. 2 of them saw a dream, one of them saw in a dream he was carrying some bread on his head, and some birds are eating from that bread. the interpretate for that dream he was gonna get crucified and birds are gonna eat from his head.
you might see one thing in a dream but could be the opposite etc..
