Dream Interpretation – Help Needed.

Dream interpretation, dream symbols

How can I interpret my dream?

Asalam Aleikum wa rahmatuhallahi wa barrakatuh.

I have been been wanting to get married for a while now. I have made Dua and been waiting patiently alhamdoullilah. But last week both me and my mom received dreams, both dreams pointing to a marriage.

I went in to check the meaning of these dreams in my islamic dream. But there are many interpretations, so i couldn't exactly figure out which category my dream fell into. Why i am writing this post. I really hope i will get an specific answer, since i'm very curious about the meaning of these dreams.

(I apologize in advance, if this will make you feel uncomfortable).
First dream: very quick dream. I dreamt that i went into the bathroom and i suddenly had my period.

In ''My islamic dream'' is said that: ''If a widow or an unmarried woman experiences her menstrual period in a dream, it means that she will get married''

but it also said: Experiencing one's menstrual period in a dream means that one has committed a wrongdoing, or it could mean confusion.

and there are many more interpretations. But the the two above fit best into my situation. I am only 18 and not married and the second also fall into my situation.

The second dream :
My mom dreamt that a woman came over to her and said ''I have found a doctor to your daughter. I have found a husband to her'' and then i heard it and i got very very happy and greeted her with salaam.

In ''my islamic dream: Saying Salaam to a known person means marriage will be proposed to such a person for oneself, one's son or another party. If the other person responds to the Salaam, it means the proposal will be accepted. Otherwise, not. But if he is not known to him it means that he any get married in a foreign land. Source:Strong

but in this case, im confused because she litterally said she had found a husband to me and then i greeted her with salaam. In ''my islamic dream'' one just go and say salaam and the other one says salam back, and this means a proposal will be made. That the salam is a symbolic of a proposal. Not that she directly propose and then i greet with salam.

May Allah reward you for taking your time to read this. I really hope that if you have some background knowlegde on dreams and know what these dreams means, that you will help me in shaa allah.

May Allah bless you all. Barrakallahu feekoum

Your sister in Islam.

We aren't able to tell you what your dreams mean. Dreams are a personal matter, and may mean something or nothing.

If you are wishing to get married, you and your family would be best served by being proactive, considering whether your family or respected members of the community know any potentially suitable matches, and making dua. Remember, though, that you are still young, so there is plenty of time - don't rush into anything before giving it careful consideration and praying istikhara (please see the resources on this site to learn more about this).
