Ramadan Mubarak! Happy Ramadan 1434 / 2013

Ramadan Mubarak, brothers and sisters!

Alhamdulillah, Ramadan is almost here. For those of you who are struggling and going through difficulties, this is a golden time to make dua' to Allah SWT and ask for relief and guidance.

Personally I want to express my gratitude to our other Editors on this website; and our loyal readers and commenters; and to Allahu Ta'alaa for all the blessings of my life.

Have a wonderful Ramadan. Turn to Allah and let go of irrelevant distractions. Let's trust in Allah to guide us and give us strength and certainty.

O Allah, for You do we fast, and for You do we break our fast. All praise is due to You, who fed us, and gave us to drink, and made us Muslims. Purify us during this month, relieve us from our burdens, and forgive us. - Ameen.

  5. ASSALAMALAIKUM WAEL
THANK FOR YR ESTEEMED GESTURE -
IN REPLY I WANT TO INFORM YOU THAT IS THERE IN ANY PRECEDENCE-IN THE LIFE OF NABISALAHAUALAHAIWASALAM AND SAHABAS.TABAYIN TABE TABAYIN??????
FOR THIS WORD MUBARAK MUBARAK MUBARAK -
ITS NOT THERE IN ISLAMIC RECORDS AND THEY ALSO HAD THESE DAYS IN THEIR LIVES AND NOT ONE TIME DID THEY GO ABOUT WISHING ECHOTHER -

EXCEPT THE VALID PHRASE FOR THE 2 IDDS-
“As for people greeting each other after the eid prayer by,‘Taqaballahu minna wa minkum‘ (may Allah accept it from you and us) – it is reported that some of the shahabah practiced it,
Let’s stick to the way of the Salaf as-Saalih (our righteous predecessors) during this upcoming ‘eid and greet each other with the saying:“Taqabballahu mina wa minkum”
Revive the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (sulAllahu alaihi wa salaam) and our Salaf and stay away from greeting each other with the commonly used phrase “Eid Mubarak” as we do not find it anywhere from amongst our Salaf who used such a term.As Allah says in the Qur’aan:
“When you are greeted with a greeting, greet back with better than it or return it. Lo! Allah takes count of all things.” [Surah an-Nisa v. 86]
THE SUBCONTINENT SLOGANS HAS NOR BASIS IN SHARIAH-
I DIDNT GET ANY HADEES ON JUMMA MUBARAK,IDD MUBARAK,SHABAN MUBARAK,RAMZAN MUBARAK,
NEW YEAR MUBARAK,BIRTHDAY MUBARAK ETC ETC-
SO DONG SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT DONE IN THE DEEN BY THE PROPHET SALAHAUALAHAIWASALAM AND THE SALFUSALHEEN BECOMES BIDDAH-
Precedent that must be applied or followed is known as binding precedent (alternatelymandatory precedent, mandatory or binding authority
    Prophet Muhammad (saw) said, "Whoever among you live (for long time) will see many difference, I URGE YOU TO FOLLOW MY SUNNAH & THE WAY OF THE RIGHTLY GUIDED KHALEEFAS who come after me. Hold on to it firmly. Beware of newly invented matters, for every innovation is going astray." {Ahmad 4/126, Tirmidhee 2676}
HOPE YOU WONT BE OFFENDED WITH MY CLARIFICATION ON THIS POINT-
Prophet (Pbuh) said “The best of people is my generation, then thosewho come after them, then those who come after them [Bukhari andMuslim]

  6. Assalamu Aliykum.

  11. InshaaAllah may this Ramadan work wonders for the soul, heart and mind. May it be the fuel we need to remove our depressions and anxieties. May we develop our characters and find strength, peace and focus by the end of the month. And may Allah envelop us with His Mercy and care as we need it so very much.

    Aameen.
