I make dua for something but I don’t see any answers. what should I do?
Assalam O Alaikum,
I am praying for something which I need directly. I make Dua in every recommended way, but I don't see any answer coming as time is fast slipping. Now, I think stopping to praying but at the same time, I feel it might be Satan prompting me to do so. What should I do?

Assalamu alaykum Sister Manaal,
I shall not say of my own, but put forward before you what Allah wills to convey to you as His message:
Allah says in Surah Al Hijr:
21. And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down save in appointed measure.
Allah says in Surah Talaaq:
2......And whosoever keepeth his duty to Allah, Allah will appoint a way out for him,
3. And will provide for him from (a quarter) whence he hath no expectation. And whosoever putteth his trust in Allah, He will suffice him. Lo! Allah bringeth His command to pass. Allah hath set a measure for all things.
Allah says in Surah Hadiid:
22. Naught of disaster befalleth in the earth or in yourselves but it is in a Book before We bring it into being Lo! that is easy for Allah
23. That ye grieve not for the sake of that which hath escaped you, nor yet exult because of that which hath been given. Allah loveth not all prideful boasters,
Allah says in Surah Israa:
11. Man prayeth for evil as he prayeth for good; for man was ever hasty.
Allah says in Surah Fussilat
49. Man tireth not of praying for good, and if all toucheth him, then he is disheartened, desperate.
51. When We show favour unto man, he withdraweth and turneth aside, but when ill toucheth him then he aboundeth in prayer.
52. Bethink you: If it is from Allah and ye reject it Who is further astray than one who is at open feud (with Allah)?
Allah says in Surah Yunus:
12. And if misfortune touch a man he crieth unto Us, (while reclining) on his side, or sitting or standing, but when We have relieved him of the misfortune he goeth his way as though he had not cried unto Us because of a misfortune that afflicted him. Thus is what they do made (seeming) fair unto the prodigal.
Allah says in Surah Huud:
9. And if We cause man to taste some mercy from Us and afterward withdraw it from him, lo! he is despairing, thankless.
10. And if We cause him to taste grace after some misfortune that had befallen him, he saith : The ills have gone from me. Lo! he is exultant, boastful;
11. Save those who persevere and do good works. Theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward.
Allah says in Surah As Shuura:
30. Whatever of misfortune striketh you, it is what your right hands have earned. And He forgiveth much
31. Ye cannot escape in the earth, for beside Allah ye have no protecting friend nor any helper.
Man is hasty, Allah is As Sabuur, The Patient. He asks us to keep Sabr as well. He asked the Prophets to keep Sabr too.
Allah says in Surah Huud:
115. And have patience, (O Muhammad), for lo! Allah loseth not the wages of the good.
Allah says in Surah Ar Ruum:
60. So have patience (O Muhammad)! Allah's promise is the very truth, and let not those who have no certainty make thee impatient.
Allah says in Surah Mu'min:
55. Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And ask forgiveness of thy sin, and hymn the praise of thy Lord at fall of night and in the early hours.
Allah says in Surah Jathiya:
35. Then have patience (O Muhammad) even as the stout of heart among the messengers (of old) had patience......"
Further, Allah says in Surah Al Imraan:
200. O ye who believe! Endure, outdo all others in endurance, be ready, and observe your duty to Allah, in order that ye may succeed.
128. And Moses said unto his people: Seek help in Allah and endure. Lo! the earth is Allah's. He giveth it for an inheritance to whom He will. And lo! the sequel is for those who keep their duty (unto Him). - Surah Al A'raaf.
90.....Lo! he who wardeth off (evil) and endureth (findeth favour); for verily Allah loseth not the wages of the kindly. - Surah Yusuf
12. How should we not put our trust in Allah when He hath shown us our ways? We surely will endure that hurt ye do us. In Allah let the trusting put their trust! -Surah Ibrahiim
Allah says in Surah Nahl:
127. Endure thou patiently (O Muhammad). Thine endurance is only by (the help of) Allah. Grieve not for them, and be not in distress because of that which they devise.
128. Lo! Allah is with those who keep their duty unto Him and those who are doers of good.
Allah says in Surah Kahf:
46. Wealth and children are an ornament of life of the world. But the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better in respect of hope.
Allah says in Surah Maryam:
76. Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort.
Allah says in Surah Al Asr:
1. By the declining day,
2. Lo! man is in a state of loss,
3. Save those who believe and do good works, and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to endurance.
And Allah says in Surah Al A'laa:
16. But ye prefer the life of the world
17. Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting.
The last two ayaats of Surah Al A'laa I mentioned, I consider them to be some of the most important ayats and teachings of the Qur'an summed up in a few words.
I hope Insha Allah, you will get the answer to your question in these verses of the Qur'an.
Salaam,
Your brother.

Asalaam U alaikum, Dear Brothers.... Thank You so very much for your Assistance , I am really thankful to Allah almighty that he granted me what I wanted, I only doubled my efforts when I thought of stopping my Dua, remained steadfast when everything appeared shaky, He really knows Everything and is Khair-ul-Razkeen, Subhaan Allah.
