Unhappy Marriage – A Result of Forced Marriage
I got forced married to this guy my dad liked… My parents care about him more then me. He hit me… I have pictures of it but my parents think I’m lying – think I did that to myself.
Husband says he feels no affection or love for me
He has recently told me that he is only with me because of our child and that he feels no affection or love, but he says he will not get a divorce unless I want it too.
He threatens divorce when he’s angry with me
He knows how much I love him and what I have been through to be with him. He tells me he loves me all the time, and when he gets angry over little things he says he wants a divorce. I don’t know what to do, he hasn’t spoken to me for a week now.
He will decide in one year if we are still married
He convinced me of getting married secretly without anyone knowing except for two muslim witnesses, and we specified an amount of money as mahr. Then we had sexual intercourse, but then he broke up with me and told me that we would meet after 1 year and then he would make up his mind if we will get back together or not.
I’ve been told to leave, but I cannot
Now since we have been married he has cheated on me with many women and has abused me physically, verbally and emotionally. I have caught him in many lies regarding his cheating ways. He keeps a diary which was full of women stories, and from my understanding I think he is sex addict. We even went to marriage counseling and he got mad because the marriage counselor told him he needs serious help.
Angry husband issues
We never had bad violent fights like this in the first months of marriage, as most people I assume. He told me to leave him, and he will not allow me in our bed to sleep. He tells me to go back to my parents (who are non-muslims- I reverted to Islam) and he hits my face, saying he doesn’t want to see it again.
We married secretly and my husband had an affair with another woman
As we are husband and wife now, Ahamdullilah, we do feel strongly for each other, our intimate life is next to zero. thats because we dont have a place to be alone at and hence get easily frustrated at small things. Only after 3 months of marriage, he had an affair with another girl and wanted to divorce me. but by the grace of Allah, he is back to me again and realizes his mistake and is embarassed.
