I want to do Istikhara to decide if I should go or not but Hajj is a Fard and I am not sure if it is appropriate to do Istikhara to decide on a Fard obligation. What do you think?
Family not allowing my marriage because of caste
I want to marry a guy and we have been in a relationship for 7 years now. His family is also ready with the marriage proposal and have approached my family a number of times. But my family is not agreeing. The only reason they are giving is that the boy is not of our caste, although he is also a Muslim. We have tried convincing them but of no use.
Conflicted feelings regarding istikhara
I have a man who recently proposed to my family. When my parents agreed, he and I prayed istikhara to decide if this is truly the right decision. When he prayed, he received a negative feeling about moving forward, however, when I prayed, I had a positive feeling or no feelings at all. What is the ruling for conflicting feelings?
