I want a divorce from my wife and want to marry this other girl who I have been in relationship with.
I am in a situation which is very troubling. Eight years ago I got married to my mother’s identical twin sister’s daughter from Pakistan. For all these years I have put on an act so my mother remains happy. We are not able to have children & last year I became exhausted of living a lie. I met a girl with a beautiful heart and good intentions with whom I and she instantly had a spark and connection with. Unfortunately, she became pregnant with my twin babies & this is when I had to tell her I was still married. I left her with no option but to abort.

Four years ago a man came to work in my department. He is a good muslim, husband and father alhamdilullah. In addition, he is very charismatic, popular and excellent at his job. However, I remained true to my values and tried my best for the relationship to remain professional. I confronted him and I admit that I became terribly distressed and he tried to comfort me. The situation became impossible after that, as I think it must have been obvious to him that I feel the same way about him, although I would never say. The problem is that no matter how I try, I cannot forget this man. He continues to attempt to contact me and recently messaged me through my facebook account which I have now closed.

Can a Muslim girl marry a Hindu man if he promises to convert after marriage for her sake?
If a Muslim girl and a Hindu guy got into a relationship and the guy promises her that he will convert to islam just because he has strong feelings for the girl. Is it okay to accept that the guy actually converted to Islam just because he has strong feelings for the girl and he’s willing to do anything just to marry her? While the girl prays to Allah in the same place where the family carries out all their hinduism culture, pooja (worship), not eating red meat etc?
How much time a man and woman should ideally spend/have to get to know each other before marriage?
I met a man at the ISNA matrimonial banquet over a year ago. He gave me his contact number and I emailed him afterwards to stay in contact. We communicated occasionally over phone and email for over a year. I have been very stressed as he is a very qualified and nice man and I’m sure he wouldn’t have any trouble finding a much younger wife. However, while he calls me and has indicated that he likes me, he hasn’t proceeded to have any discussions about us getting married. I am inclined to think he is not interested and is talking to other women so won’t tell me anything serious now.

I have been looking for the right man for many years. Now, I met him who has the personality and qualities I desire. I am a true Muslim. He is very devoute Muslim. Proposing marriage is so difficult because we are from different tribes. He wants to get married in a halal way, but my mom disapproved him because of his tribe. I want to be married to him because I love him. I don’t want to disrespect my mother because I love her to death but how can I make her understand this good Muslim guy, who prays five times a day and knows the religion better than me. What is the best way to make her understand and tell her stop being judgmental without disrespecting her?
He doesn’t practice Islam but wants to meets my parents to ask for my hand in marriage. I am confused;
I would like to marry a male, who was born a muslim. His father was is a muslim man and his mother a mixed race female. Due to his parents separation at a very early age, he did not learn how to be a proper muslim. He does not practise salaat or read quran. However he believes in Allha (swt) 100% and has studied not only Islam but also other religions. I am still concerned as to what my father and family will say. I am so confused as he wants to get married and settle down. He wants to meet my father and family.
