Need a dua’ for getting closer to my husband
Muslim couple.
I am reading a dua for getting closer to my husband and it should be read for 41 days.. but in the middle i will be getting periods. what do i do? should i stop reading the dua or continue it?
lailaaha illallah mohammadin mu attirir roohi wat tayyibeenat taahireena salatan tu atti runa wabaarik wasallim.
plz help if i can continue it.. as i am in big need of this dua now. jazakallahu khair.

The general ruling that I have read from the scholars is that a woman in periods does not touch the Quran, but she can touch the books of du'as. She can also read du'as in his state.
But this du'a you mention does not seem to be authentic. Do not read a du'a specific number of times, until yoh find an Aayah of the Quran or a Saheeh Hadith approving it. And the above mentioned does not seem to have any authenticity.

First, Prophet Muhammad (Prayers and peace be upon him) was considered to be the "walking Quran" and he had some sort of physical contact with his wives during their menes. In addition, I see no reference written in the Mr. Ali translation that woman having the cycle cannot physically touch the Quran.
Secondly, if you are asking Allah from a place of sincerity to bless you to be closer to your husband, finding words from His Books is a good approach.
Third, when you say closer to your husband what do you mean? Spend some time considering specifically what you are seeking. I pondered such questions to seek a better relationship with my parent and it allowed me to direct my actions toward a more positive relationship. Allah knows what is best for His servants.

Just wanted to say a women is not allowed to pray, fast, nor touch the Qu'ran when she is menstruating. The brother in the first post os right. She can listen to verses on Youtube and say dua.
To the OP, my concern is you need to make sure this dua is legit. Also if you want to be close to your husband, some people on here can be helpful. But maybe you will need to explain the issue more. I hope you find peace and the love of your husband. Inch'Allah

I think life is not easy without a good life partner. A good partner means a good friend. In this time, it is not a easy matter.
I strongly believe that, only Allah can solve all the problems in our daily life. My question is which dua or amal can help for getting love from husband ?
